where do you store 50/50

I have just made a bunch of 50/50 mix and sterilized it. Can I put it in the fridge for a week and use it when i pull it out. or do i have to resterilize it. Need answer ASAP. Thank you.

Well i boiled it for like 40 min on simmer.

So bring the core temp up to 160-170 and hold there for 90min.

Alright, so what does sterilizing it do to the casing does it kill the nutrients.

If you did sterilize instead of pasteurize then you essentially made a clean palate for all sorts of contams...I made this mistake once and it is the only time I had trays contam. They were fine until I applied the sterilized casing layer. Sterilizing kills of beneficial microbes you want in your casing. Which eliminates competition for competitor contaminates.

Great, so now do i just let them contam in the open and pasturize them or do i have to toss them.

I'd say lesson learned and start over. Def sucks but you don't really want things sitting around getting contamed. If it did contam pastuerizing wouldn't kill everything. It's not 100% that it will contam since you sterilized but the odds are probably high enough that it's not worth risking your grow.

140-150 for 2 hours works better

Well when I checked the temp at 40 min it was 210 degrees

Sterilization kills the beneficial actinomycetes that make your substrate selective to your intended mycelium as opposed to the germination of mold spores. Pasteurization essentially scrubs your substrate of these mold and bacterial spores, while leaving the beneficial actinomycetes to thrive within it. Sterilizing your 50/50 has left it vulnerable to a hostile takeover. Re-do it.
