Anyone else use Ozone for air purification????

So I have recently (about a month ago) acquired an Ozone/hepa/ionic/Uv air STERILIZER (edenpure G7) and I was wondering if anyone else has used one for mycological intent. Any thoughts/words/
I think its the most bitchin thing ever. Since acquision of my new toy I have been doing all sterile work in OPEN AIR, and so far, with 100 percent success. As of yet that is, hopefully I didnt speak too soon.
Its cool because it actually sterilizes the fuck out of the room you put it in, its made for 3000 sq. feet!!!!!!!!!!! If you turn it on full blast, then leave the room, in five minutes when you walk in it smells like an Operating Room. It will annihalate any airborne pathogesn or particles it comes across.
I'm a tad worried about the respiratory problems i may endure in the long run. ozone supposedly causes lung problems/cancer or some shit.......

I use an ozone generator in the exhaust air duct. I would not want to breath it. I know the air purifiers generate a bit but the level it is allowed to is highly limited compared to the real good generators so they are safer but I still would not want one in my house as it damages materials as well as the health concerns.

Glove Box plus 70% Isopropyl alcohol equals success. mist inside of glove box with isopropyl and then inoculate. There is no reason to risk cancer and respiratory problems with harsh chemicals.

I concur with your assertations, but alas it has pampered me beyond the abilities my still air box ever could. Doing sterile procedure in OPEN AIR is pretty bitchin. I just like the comfort of not having to work in an akward box which can be confining/restricting.
AND yes, i realize that there are inherent risks for my laziness....... Especially since this thing CRANKS out the O3. But I only use it for sterile procedure, not for extended times or anything which seems to be where the scientific evidence purports health risk.
Does anyone else use O3????/ I would like to have some anecdotal evidence,.....

You gotta die sometime... I have a lifelong illness that pretty much guarantees I wont live past 60 anyhow, so why not live doing what I love.

thats a very wack way to look at it, because if you stick to that theory, and you get shot in the neck, and slowly are dying, I will say almost 100% certain that you would change that opinion real quick..
but for sure.. live to die, i guess.. want some heroin and death caps to go with it? hahahaha.. i hear drinking a gallon of bleach is all the rage..

There is an acceptable ppm that is safe. I cant remeber how many parts per million it is & will look for it here shortly. However, if u have been knocking up in free air, why not turn it on & leave the room for awhile. Turn it off & leave for a while. Come back & knock up or xferr, what ever u might need to do.

Thatts EXACTLY the procedure I have been using. I'm exposed to the O3 for 15-20 minutes at most.... And as I have aforementioned, I do believe the purported health risks are for EXTENDED inhalation....
And yes, yosua, i don't really think like that. I was just throwing a one minute pity party duder.
Really though NOONE else has experimented in it for air sterilization? I mean they do use O3 in operating room air sterilization, so I wouldnt think they would expose surgeons to something thats inherently incredibly toxic.
I just want to know if any of you all use ozone.....
