Ya I have done it for forever. Dentist said I either need to somehow stop or wear a mouthguard at night or else my teefs will start to go bad. I apparently have ground a ravine in my teeth over the years.

I'm not sure, cause I'm asleep

I don't think I do, though. I never have any of the usual symptoms of nocturnal teeth grinding.

I've had many dreams where I literally couldn't stop grinding my teeth,as if my jaw and upper mouth had impossibly powerful magnets in them.

My teeth would be falling out and I'd be completely horrified. I'd have to put my hand in my mouth just to stop the grinding. No damage when I walk up though thankfully.

My wife used to do this REALLY bad. She's stopped, now. The only thing I can suggest is to clear your mind. Try meditating for about 30 minutes before bed each night. Get tuned in to yourself.

The only reason you are grinding your teeth is stress. It may not be immediate stress...but it's there. Believe me!

Wow now that I think about it, I have a few dreams every year where my teeth fall out and I'm all freaking out like why are my teeth falling out. Its like when you're a kid and you notice one of em is sorta loose and you start playing with it and next thing you know you are yanking it out cuz its so loose.

lol, you sound a lot like me

I always had a lot of stress, as a kid. I finally started to work on myself about 10 years ago, but it took a near death experience to finally wash it all down the drain.

I clench my teeth and bite when I lift weights and work out.

Over the course of more than a decade, I've worn away a large amount of enamel on my front teeth.  The dentist has told me straight out that she'll have to replace my teeth in a few years.

I ordered a "custom" mouthguard off ebay for $50 bucks.  I haven't got it yet but I'm hoping it works.

Dental occlusion guards are about $400.  Even with my insurance they're still about $250.  I figured I'd start wuith an ebay version and see how they fit.  It's expensive, but better than false teeth.

dude, get this.

in 2003 i was working in a mail room for an insurance company along side this BEAUTIFUL chick. she was so fucking hot and cool as fuck. she would always hook me up with free bud and rolls and was in love with me at the time which i never realized. i got fucked up a lot and was full of myself.

anyway, she would always tell me how good she would treat her a guy. she would tell me that she would wake up before the guy and give him a blow job every morning.

she wasnt trashy or a fuck slut either.

i ended up running into her on face book a couple years ago and she went from a 17 year old perfect 10 to a 25 year old perfect 10 and she invited me out for drinks. i had to decline only because i was in a relationship at the time and im not that type of person.

i was fucking :braindamage: at the time.

oh, the whole waking up with an erection thing is was triggered this memory.

Lots of people do it, it's pretty common.

You should get yourself a night mouthguard. My boyfriend had one, my sister has one too.
