Teacher Tera Myers Revealed To Be Former Porn Star Rikki Andersin For Second Time, and resigns her teaching position.

Parkway North High School science teacher has been placed on administrative leave
and will not return to her job after disclosing she had worked in pornographic films
before becoming a teacher, according to school district officials.
The teacher, Tera Myers, requested the leave Friday after a student approached her about her past,
according to the district.
Previously, Myers had been suspended from a Kentucky school district for similar reasons.
"Out of respect for her privacy and that of her family, the district has agreed to accept the teacher's request to be placed on administrative leave for the remainder of the school year,"
a Parkway news release said.
Myers will be paid through the end of the school year.
Myers was hired after passing standard background and reference checks,
according to the district. A Parkway spokesman said Tuesday
that because the teacher's involvement in the porn industry did not break any laws,
it wasn't revealed in the background checks.

I was referring to the complete story. The associated press reported this. just a portion of the story that made it sound as if she lost her job against her will..
"I didn't do anything criminal, I did something stupid, but I didn't hurt anybody except myself. They treated me like I was a criminal," she told Fox News at the time.

A school district spokesman told the press that Myers' history as a porn star didn't come up during background or reference checks because she broke no laws by acting in adult films.

Yeah, but the teacher probably wants to quit as much as anyone wants her gone. The kids are going to be brutal. Plus having to work with some pretty uptight people that all now know her past. Sucks people have prejudices about porn actors. They do though.
