Awesome!! Those are nice micrographs, good work. And props on getting Melzers, im still trying to figure out how.

Thanks! Definitely convenient to have access to a scope. I just need some stains and a reticle and I'll be good to go.

Thanks man. I just got lucky with the Melzer's thing. It just kinda happened... I didn't even have to ask for it. Try and meet someone that works at a university.

This is exactly the kind of information I would like to see better propagated on the Internet. This year, I'm planning a few outdoor mycological forays, and I hope to be able to collect large amounts of visual and other information about mushrooms as I collect from the wild. I wish there was some place I could look up microscopic characteristics of mushrooms on the Internet, but maybe we could create that for others. +1

I know what you mean. I just love seeing other peoples microscopy!
Kuo, at www.mushroomexpert.com , lists some microscopic info and sometimes puts up photos of those characteristics. (Don't know if that's what you're talking about or not.)
