I understand.
And my only point is if you feel that way you've never been in this situation.

You are on probation to avoid 60 days in jail.
Are you under the impression that, if you don't comply with the conditions of your probation, you're going to prison?

I just don't see how they can control where I am if I don't give them that piece of info.
Then you've obviously never been in that situation. It goes a little something like this: "Comply with the Rules or go to Jail"
But seriously... no one can expect you to be on call 24/7. That's my only point.
Actually, that is exactly what they expect. If you aren't home or answering their calls for a couple days they will go out looking for you. Sometimes they expect to know your entire work schedule so they know when to contact you or show up at your house.
You don't have the same rights when on probation/parole. They expect you to do as they say and to be available when called upon. Also, most of the time, they expect you to obtain their permission if you need to leave the county/city of your crime.
It sucks.

Fuck, they wanted the names, addresses and phone numbers to my 5 closest friends...I have every intention to think that they would've showed up there if I went AWOL for a day.
Of course I gave them bogus info, but still!

Yes, im under that impression because that's what my PO told me.
If I in any way fail to comply with the conditions of probation, I will be sent to a minimum security prison for 60 days.
"How much time did you do in prison? How much longer are you on parole? Why do you have a probation officer? I'd do the sixty days in jail if probationary noncompliance meant prison. " I spent 2 days in jail, im on parole for 11 more months, I would do the 60 days in prison but I don't want a prison record and I believe I'll simply be put back on parole after serving the time.

It would have been jail, not prison, for 60 days. I don't think you understand the differences between jail, prison, probation and parole.
