Help! Spores sent without stamp

I sent a sporeprint to a friend in Idaho (spores illegal there), assuming they wouldn't check my envelope. However, I didn't put a stamp on it. I also didn't put a return address! Will they throw it away? I am mainly just hoping they don't somehow open it, identify it as Cube spores, try to send it to my friend, and bust them... Is that just being paranoid? What is going to happen? I'm worried

Also, does anyone know what the penalties are for possession of spores in Idaho?

I doubt anything will happen unless overt evidence of illegal activity is present.
Yes, they may open the letter to my understanding if their is no valid return address. Lack of return address is also a good way to get your mail flagged as suspicious, and is consistantly cited as suspicious in standards and court decisions on the topic.
Finally: simply tell your friend to not accept any crap like that. A simple letter of spores should not be enough for a warrant anyways, though a prospective/anticipatory warrant may be had under state law dependant on his acceptance of the delivery. Tell him to not accept delivery. Don't bring the letter inside and don't answer the door.

When the USPS receives a letter with no postage and no return address, they'll either send it to the dead letter office, where it will sit for years, or they'll send it to the recipient's post office, and the PO will send him a postage due notice. If he goes down and pays the $0.44 due on it, they'll give him the letter. It happens quite frequently.
You actually run a much higher risk of it being opened if he doesn't pick it up.

Well, they never got a postage due notice so it must be in that dead letter office?

Sporeprints are not illegal where I live, but I have gotten couple of empty envelopes ducted with yellow toll tape... They did not have a return address. God I was pissed.
One envelope cost me 60$, lost in toll.
And I just don't trust FSRE anymore, they don't put the return address.
However, I have shipped things many times worse than sporeprints and been successful, those uneducated cunts don't know anything beyond a spore print, which isn't even illegal. I should order edibles, get my shit seized and go complaining. I just want to strangle them all, these cunts!
