This was also about a month after my first and only heavy duty ayahuasca session, which really spooked me. I have no explanation other than that it was fucked up and whatever i was experiencing was real, to me, at the time.

I understand where you are coming from. After ingesting entheogens with strong intentions my experiences involving things of this nature increase in intensity and frequency, ten fold, no exaggeration.
It's terrifying.

Do you ever experience things of that nature while high on entheogens?

I live in an area that is rich in Native American history and sites. The most heavily populated in the states actually.
After ingesting entheogens, I could feel them... And could feel the exact spots where they had been...

What do you mean you could "feel them", exactly what did you feel? What did you feel when you were by the spots where they had been?

What exactly gave you the impression that they did not like what people have done to those places? Did you hear voices, or see ghosts or something? What made you think hostility was being directed at you?

It's one thing to simply enjoy a style of life that one enjoys, but it's another thing altogether to refer to another person's choice as "wrong" or to rationalize their behavior as being pathological or resulting from some sort of inadequacy or failing so as to create a sense of superiority or separation as yet another projection of a personal fear or control issue.

Yes, I do actually... typically when I feel things like that, it's far more subtle, but on entheogens, it's as if I've turned the light on in a dark room... I have a writing of mine describing an experience where this happened actually, if you are interested, I can PM it to you.

It's difficult to describe, but the best way I can is, feeling it with a sense faculty one typically doesn't realize they have, like, smelling and never realizing you could before, very strange and unfamiliar.
Almost as if you could see it, but neither closing or opening your eyes fully allows you to. Like a layer behind everything so subtle, one can't help to miss it unless it is screaming right in their face at the right moment, is peeled back. Almost like a world betwixt this one... It's incredibly difficult to transliterate it into words...
As for what did I feel exactly? Their presence, their energy, which, was kind of dark and spooky in a positive way, like ancestral magick.... Lots of death and the sadness and frustration, which I later learned a plausible reason for feeling. Lots of death via disease that was spreading before the whites arrived, and when the whites really did start showing up in force, many of the natives here were dead already and those who were still alive were not treated with clemency.

Yes and no.
There was a time when me and my lil sis (Much to her dismay...:frown:) felt their presence and could clearly hear chanting and drumming, but coming from somewhere else, almost like we had headphones on and the volume was turned down. This instance was not hostile what so ever, no altered states of consciousness were involved.
There have been times I've seen what I feel to be a manifestation of these energies or spirits, like shadow figures springing from nothingness and fading out after a few steps. Perhaps it is unfair of me to associate the hostility with the natives themselves, but, I feel it most often in the places that were most home to them, especially sacred and burial sites. When hostility is being directed it is clear. I'm not a man who scares easily what so ever, so I often stand my ground with these things. But, it's as if you can feel them lunging at you, grimacing, it's a bad feeling and you feel it deep into the bone, it makes your hair stand on end and your flesh tingle and at times, literally sting. No bueno.

Them not liking what we have done to the land is a deep sense I get from the feelings of these places, me associating it with the hostility is myself giving meaning to that hostility which I do not understand, but, I don't think it to be too far fetched to conclude that something would be pissed off for building trails through the woods and homes ontop a cliff side you prayed and buried your dead at for 10,000 + years.
