i have a coir, verm, wbs mono tub with holes stuffed with poly fill. Its on day five of fruiting conditions and today there were tons of water droplets and pools on the top of the myc. I used a papertowel and just dabbed it off gently. Is that ok?
i dont know why its so wet, i dont mist ever and its in a room with a ceiling fan on full blast and gets plenty of light.

Is the mycelium really fluffy? Try packing a few of the holes with alittle less polyfill to get more fae. This could also be due to a great tempature change between the outside of your fc and the inside.

:whathesaid: It doesn't seem like humidity is the problem, try to loosen some of those poly-fil holes.

i am right where your at, day 4 ms b + strain out-grows compost half brick coir and gypsum,  my tub holes are stuffed good and tight and one of them have tape for dialing in purposes. i have dime size myc spots on surface now. I don't recommend any more fidling it will take care of itself unless you have pooling... opening it up gives greenies helping hands! good luck to you, and may the shroom force be with us...

Checked this morning before I had to leave for work. It's looking WAY dryer now. I can probley actually mist it after work. I thought it woulda dried up but it was pooling for the first 4 days and I could keep looking at it just sitting stagnant.

On other note it was 9 jars almost completely full of wbs colonized by mazatapec ms. Spawned to a brik coir and verm. I'll post some pics eventually.

PICS!

how come whenever i use coir, it seems to get wet, then it gets too dry then i get crap for flushes. SO i have 4 holes, one on the botton of each side, then i have one hole on the two skinny sides up top. all LOOSELY filled with poly fill. I just want ths to work out right. it started out perfect now its starting to go into what usually happens with me

I'm v interested in seeing your results as I have a maz print on its way now.

Out of interest, how was colonisation time for the Jars & once spawned to Tub? From what I've heard Maz is a fast colonizer but I dont know if this is just hearsay.

Cheers

Pete

Jars were slow till they got to like 25% then they took only a few days. The tub colonization was about 10-11 so I'd say pretty quick.
