Acacia Simplex sprout

Well, I got my seed to germinate fairly quickly. Then put it in a good soil mix, in a medium-large pot with plastic loose over the top.
The seed broke through the soil quite a bit, and got attacked by fungus. I immediately bought some organic non-burning fungicide, and it was taken care of. I waited and maybe a couple days after the initial spray, the fungus came back - after that treatment I haven't seen any outbreaks (1-2 weeks). I'm fairly certain the root below is fine, as the spray is supposed to be effective with that.
Anyways, once the seed seemed to be standing on its own, but heavy to one side, I took the tent off (it is sitting very closely to a humidifier.
The outside/whole of the shell seems to be 'peeling off'. I can't tell if this is a healthy sign or not...it's still greenish 'inside' the seed, as well as it's stem....but it seems very 'weak'...Touching it slightly, it is easily moved and stays exactly how it ends up.
So, should I keep the tent on for months? Is this description of the sprout as it should be? Could anyone tell me what I should look out for, and how long to look :P

im no expert but it sounds like its going ok...maybe stop poking it if its just a seedling then it will be soft...why so much humidity maybe thats why you you have fungus

Your seedling sounds normal for Acacia. I notice some don't like to shed their seed coats as readily as others. I try to peel them off with limited success. They're so fragile.
Most work their way off by themselves so just be patient with it. Once the seed coat is off I would acclimate to the outside world and they tend to do fine from there.
Some of mine get attacked by powdery mildew in the seedling stage and to combat this I use 10ml of full cream milk to 100ml of water and then apply this in a fine mist to the leaves in the evening. After a few applications the mildew subsides and once they get older it isn't a problem.

I think at first I had an over-watering, but the soil should be in good shape now. I have reapplied the humidity tent.
I had noticed a slight browning of a little bit of it's tiny stem, what does this indicate? Should it still recover?

Overwatering shouldn't be a problem, at least mine like it very wet. As for the brown spot, I don't know, but a picture might help
