The Book: On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are
Is a good one for starters. It's an easy read too, you can easily finish reading it in a day.

didn't think to check there. Seems they do have a few books by him but the majority of what's available are DVDs or audiobooks.

Yea, I donated the 10 bucks to keep my ratio high so I don't get terminated, because I never seed. It's like 10 bucks for 10 gig of leeching.

That's one of my favorites. I liked "The Wisdom of Insecurity" too.

glad to. my two personal favorites (though all of his work ive have yet encountered is amazing) are: 'The Book: On The Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are', and 'What Is Zen?' personally 'The Book' to me is one of the most amazing combination of words ever put together; though some people might not have the patience or focus to read through the whole thing, though it truly is beyond word. 'What Is Zen? a great easy read (and easy does not in any way mean that its "not smart" or "for beginners", its a genius book that puts difficult concepts in a amazingly understandable way). its short, straight to the point, gives you an amazing feeling of 'enjoying the moment', and its beautifully poetic and flowey. alot of his points are that, for example, that things such as religion, and many philosophies do not point at themselves but to something beyond themselves, they are a stepping stone. for example: THE WHOLE POINT OF GOING TO A DOCTOR IS SO YOU GET HEELED AND DO NOT HAVE TO COME BACK TO THE DOCTORS FOR HELP OR GUIDANCE, IT IS A POINTING (A GUIDANCE TO A GREATER EXPERIENCE THAN THE ONE YOU HAD, HAVE, OR ARE IN, YOU JUST NEED SOME DIRECTION [AND IRONICALLY THE DIRECTION POINTS AT 'NOT ASKING FOR DIRECTION, BUT TRUST INTUITION'). THE DOCTOR EQUIPTS YOU WITH THE TOOLS SO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COME BACK TO THE DOCTOR, SO YOU CAN DEAL WITH THINGS ON YOUR OWN. THE DOCTOR SHOULD NOT BE A CONTINUOS VISIT, THUS IT DOES NOT POINT AT ITSELF, IT POINTS BEYOND ITSELF TO A EXPERIENCE. IT TEACHES YOU YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ASK OTHERS FOR GUIDANCE BUT INSTEAD HOW TO WALK YOUR OWN PATH/ BE YOUR OWN MASTER/TEACHER. BUDDHISM ( AND ALL RELIGION FOR THAT MATTER) IS A POINTING TO A 'EXPERIENCE' GREATER THAN THE TEACHING ITSELF, BEYOND THE THOUGHTS OR WORDS OF WHAT YOU ARE LEARNING. other great books i have read by him include: 'The Wisdom Of Insecurity', 'Man Woman And Nature, 'This Is IT', 'What Is Tao', 'Become Who You Are', and many more. i could writ down more if youd like i just gotta go check out my collection. glad you guys enjoyed PEACE

as i stated above i love this book. its has a very special something to it that throws me into an amazing headspace that causes me to 'enter the moment and truly experience now' great to read and then meditate on. though i am intersted... since you have read 'The Book' and even say its an easy read (i personally think it does bend the mind) do you have any good book suggestions with a similar essence?
