Sneaky Green Tric
    #14080463 - 03/07/11 11:26 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

This was E, after two days of redunking and planting after the first flush.

And this is E flipped around, never noticed. -.-

I'm guessing I should just chuck the whole thing. Damn.
There is no way I can salvage some mycelium, or the pins? I guess it's not worththe risk. Just chuck that shit?

If I were you, I would TOSS the ENTIRE fruiting chamber........
i  CANNOT EMPHASISE THIS ENOUGH: THE MEAN GREEN IS RESILIENT AND PERNICIOUS.

Just haveing sporulated in your fruiting chamber is not good man.  Seriously I have seen people that get the mean green for the FIRST time, have troubles with it forever if they don't take care of it promptly and efficiently.

DO NOT underestimate thh nastiness of this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES timmyonyx........  If I were you this is how I would dispose of it.....

1. Using care to NOT disturb the air around the FC, try and export it out of your house (assuming thats where your growing).  This means carefully and deliberately transporting it in a slow motion to the out of doors.
2.DO NOT open the fc anymore.  Consider any healthy cakes in there contammed as well.
3. While it seems severe to throw out a whole grow like that, if you could only hear your future self tell you about the contam woes you may get down the line, you'll realize the benefits of such a drastic measure AT THIS TIME.

The thought here is that you don't want spores from the contam mold to fly all over your house.

Think about it dude, IF YOU CAN SEE SPORES WITH THE NAKED EYE: then thats MILLIONS if not billions of spores.  Every one of those is sorta like an asexual seed.  Fungi are amazing in almost every way imaginable, and their will to propagate is NO laughing matter my friend.
