Having a baby
    #14079937 - 03/07/11 07:55 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

The wait is finally over!

My wife is having our son, Damian, today! I am so excited to witness the miracle of life.

The whole experience has been surprisingly awesome so far. We found out she was pregnant after I had been growing mushrooms for a while, which is crazy because I swore I had at least one vision of being a sperm inside he uterus lol.
I must say that I dont think me or my wife could have handled this pregnancy as well without the lessons that the fungi has taught us. Lessons like humility, importance of sacrifice, and most importantly love is the creator of life.

I and my family are eternally grateful for the Shroomery for showing us how to find the beauty that is inside and all around us. And that is why I make this post.

Much love shroomery

Congrats man!!

My own son is 11 months old, but I can still remember the day like it was yesterday!

Enjoy the day! It happens only rarely that you will get to witness a part of you being brought into this world :sun:

Uhm, I witness that every day, as a matter of fact. But Pris says we can't discuss that in the Pub anymore.

I think having a baby/going through pregnancy has been a fairly psychedelic expeience.

Mostly from the far-out lucid dreaming I have been experiencing. Apart from that just planning a new life is really powerful and feels like I am taking part in something ancient, which feels really cool to say the least.
I cant wait to be the teacher, showing this little guy what life is all about on this planet.

I only hope to be a good father leading by example, it sure is going to be challenging.

She is still in labor, this lil guy is stubborn already...2 weeks past the due date and still has wet feet!  Guess he is gonna be like his dad...late for every thing!

I dont know what you mean by douch bag but I plan on being a strict dad. Not like unfair but I dont want him to act like all the spoiled brats that dont listen to anyone, you know.

That baby's gonna be a whopper.  Probably have a fucking beard.  My sympathies to his mother.  On the plus side, and this is huge, being late means he may well sleep through the night right away.  That's right.  My daughter was born two weeks late or so, 9lbs 1oz.  SHE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT FROM DAY ONE!
