A surprisingly good article considering the source...

I'd love to watch Al-Jazeera in english, or even with english subtitles.

I read on another message board they have an english language page online that's new, it came under heavey denial of service attack last couple days. I'm looking for the link now, I want to read through it. Here's a link to the arabic page http://www.aljazeera.net/ Edit to add: I've found the english al-jazeera site. It's http://english.aljazeera.net . It's unavailable now so it looks like the DoS attack is still going on. Sucks since I want to read it.

Below is an English to Arabic and Arabic to English site. Unfortunately, to translate sites from Arabic to English requires a paid subscription. Ajeeb

Here's another translated page:
http://www.aljazeerah.info/
Also a live TV-stream here if you have broadband:
http://winmedia.ish.de/al-jazeera
-------------------- The above is an extract from my fictional novel, "The random postings of Edame". In the beginning was the word. And man could not handle the word, and the hearing of the word, and he asked God to take away his ears so that he might live in peace without having to hear words which might upset his equinamity or corrupt the unblemished purity of his conscience. And God, hearing this desperate plea from His creation, wrinkled His mighty brow for a moment and then leaned down toward man, beckoning that he should come close so as to hear all that was about to be revealed to him. "Fuck you," He whispered, and frowned upon the pathetic supplicant before retreating to His heavens.

Thanks for the links. I'll be sure to check them out.
Wish I could actually see the video. Maybe late tonight I can.

It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis "I would rather be exposed to the inconveniencies attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson
