Was this a cube

Years ago, when i was a wee lad, lets say 10 years ago. I ate 1gram of "shrooms" They had a red cap. I had an extreamly intense trip. Lost complete understanding of space and time and reality.
Was this a cube? Or something else? at the time i thought "shrooms" were shrooms.
This trip was a good 4-5 hours long, completly submersed

Couldn't have been. Cubensis have a golden cap, and wouldn't produce profound effects at such a low dosage. 1g, or a 'small cap', is considered a 'light' dose by erowid of Amanita Muscaria, which does indeed have a red cap. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=amanita+muscaria Check it out.

Sounds more like he ate psilocybin than amanitas by his description of the trip
And one gram of certain species could be a pretty profound effect.
As for the red cap.... ?

hey guys
Sorry I was not more specific but I ate roughly one gram, maybe a touch more. They were dried, mostly caps, and it was a shade of red, not like intense pure red.
During the trip i forgot my name, my age, i forgot everything. I became obsessed with the phrase
life is a circle and a circle is a square lol I even wrote this on my body for fear i would forget. This happened in Ottawa, Canada.

ironic you say this, much of the story of st. nick (santa) is believed to be a folklore directly branched off the experiences of amanita muscaria (red cap). for one reindeer love the things (they do get slighty intoxicated), they make you blush red and slightly puff up. in Siberia were these mushrooms are common and so are reindeer the locals would often pick the mushrooms and dry them in the so called 't-pees' over a fire inside a sock (i.e. christmas stocking over fire place) and much more facts about this exist though ima stop there. as far as your mushroom, when you say red cap i automatically think amanita, though your trip sounds not like a amanita trip which is more like a physchedelic drunk disassociated stupor. thus makes me believe you ate a rare psilocybin mushroom that has a red hue to it when dried, what that may be i have no idea, the only thing that pops in my mind is "Laughing Gym's", i have seen these have a red hue to them though you description leaves me stumped. do you know where the mushroom came from/its environment?

It was 10 years ago. OP probably forgot the exact amount he ate.
Or something crazy that we would never be able to figure out happened, such as someone dropping a hit of acid on the shrooms or something.

I've had a psilocybin trip that made me look incredibly hairy (to myself anyway). I thought I have deevolved into a cave man.
But that was on 5gm cyanofriscosa lemon tek. There's no mistaking 5 gm for 1 gm. I was pretty messed up for what seemed like a long time.

Holy shit that's awesome! Are you at all familiar with sacred geometry? Maybe you should check this out: http://www.scribd.com/doc/8320/Robert-Lawlor-Sacred-Geometry-Philosophy-and-Practice-1982

Omg i have no knowledge about sacred geometry what so ever, nor did 10 years ago, crazy
My entire life that phrase has stuck in my head because during the trip it was a major breakthrough
How exactly does sacred geometry relate to my statement? that is a lot of reading in there, very interesting

Sacred geometry involves making things that are implied become explicit. For instance, you can fit exactly one circle around a square if you make each corner of the square a point along the circle. It goes way deeper than this of course, but I still have a lot to learn. But that phrase is definitely food (of the gods, perhaps) for thought. Thanks for posting it!
