i just saw that u said u forgot tape. my bad. you will most likely be ok, but i the more things u skip, your chances are diminishing... be more careful next time. If u did the required research you would make all these mistakes. dont give up on them yet tho, im sure if you have good inoc procedure youll have some great cakes

i wasn't referring to putting it on being too complicated, i was referring to "OMG OMG I FORGOT TO PUT IT ON OH GOD IM DOOOMED"
yes, tape helps, but its not a manditory item, your entire grow isn't fucked because you forgot it..
but the fact is you cant relay everything you do in this hobby as "i have to do everything exactly the way RR does"
simply put, you can bet if a member on this forum tries something different, and has great results with it, and reproduces that method and its proven to work...RR will try it, and possibly change his methods if it works well for him...

No doubt biologys, i consider you a very credible source.
I, being the noob that i am, like to be as careful as possible in my first trials, and i think that it is best for other noobs to do the same, then once you have success you can start making your shortcuts. Thats the only reason i mentioned any of that. And if he is making all these mistakes now, im concerned with his inoc procedure. I have hope though, Good luck OP!!

agree completely
not trying to be a dick at all, i learned ALOT from RR, no doubt about that and he's a very skilled man
i just see everyone thinking if you dont do your method exactly the way RR does then you're 'wrong' and thats not true at all
Not only has all of us learned from him, but im willing to bet there has been a few things that he's picked up from these forums that has helped him learn some things as well..

I feel I did a lot of research, but your first shot is your first shot. I knew the steps, I had the required material and when everything was layed out in front of me I made some mistakes.
I know next time it will be flawless.
So I assume after the sterilization if my jars dont seem saturated im good to innoculuate ONCE they have COOLED
overnight.

yep, thats what id do.
one thing to note, you dry verm layer should look diff from your verm/brf/water below it, so it should be easy to tell if the dry layer got wet, if it did, start over. IMO

I would completly start over.
I paid 30 for my spores and only 7 for my brf and verm
This will be my first time tripping in like 10 years. amazing.

just let it cool down over night in the pot, remove and inoculate then store on a shelf or somewhere.
