Pan Subbs at sod farm???

There is a sod farm not to far from my house and i was wondering it is possible for subbs to grow there?when would be the best time to look.went yesterday(kinda chilly)with no luck at all...please shine some light on the subject people!

It is possible and probable that subbs grow there but the sod is probably treated with pesticides.

Does this mean that people picking lawn dwelling subbs need to worry about pesticides?

If you are picking them in "residential" areas I think you should be fine. OP if you don't find anything at the sod farm you could allways introduce some spores I can imagine that the subbs would like it there.

Any ino about the pesticides in Pan Cinctulus from sod? Can't imagine it being good,but does it cross over into the mushroom?

And in my experience, Sod is a hot-bed for Sub activity.
