Gee, you're right. You should probably be the one to decide, that way you never have to suffer the embarrassment of having your opinion challenged.

He seems to have quite a bit of experience with the topics discussed in this forum.  He posts on them very frequently.

What basis do you have to conclude that he has no experience with the subject matter?  Who has more experience?

Which is what, exactly?  He posts about mystical stuff quite often, usually in teh philosophy forum.  What is this predetermined opinion he has, and how is it contrary to this forum's topic?

A mod's 'job' is to make sure that the established rules/policies are adhered to. Diploid seems to do this well. Thus, by the job description, Diploid is VERY qualified and deserving of the title of 'Mod'.

Quit your bitching. .

I prefer a person of logic moderating over a person of emotion. If it were a different way, I could see many people getting banned because they insulted the mod's beliefs. It's rather refreshing that such unstable methods aren't utilized here.

So what exactly are you people complaining about?

How do you know he has no experience in the area of spirituality.  I think he has more than you do actually.  At least in his search for evidence. It's quite extensive as far as I know.

He's fair and gets the job done here and no one else seems to want the job.
