When evolution traps people in neurological prisons, it must be understood.

it's not a prison.. you'll figure out how to make yourself compatible with reality eventually. it'll end up being the most amazingly beautiful thing you never thought you ever deserved

once you stop looking at your traits as drawbacks and realize what you truly have..

It doesn't stop the fact that autism is still there based most likely on the same thing that gives some of us our intellectual advantage and difference.

Also this wasn't natures fault, it was processed foods fault. Autistics have been multiplying exponentially the last 20 years, and I do not believe its just from noticing there autistic. Were talking full blown autism here, its obvious they are autistic.

So yes, it is indeed a prison. I see autism metaphorically as a prison, and that it would be like for someone that makes it out of it.

Im not looking at our flaws to talk about, I'm looking for perspective here. Any perspective matters.

autism might as well be a made up disease, don't give it so much power...

i'm glad i never took labeling myself with a mental disease seriously, what a mental setback that would be

so, why don't you cut the processed foods out of your diet? grow mushrooms, what a great medicine. if you can't, then bide your time until you can.

lol, You can fuck off. I can do whatever I want to do, also Im mostly doing it just to help people now as this has already been discovered five years ago in a medical hypothesis. I unfortunately will not get credit for this I believe.

If you dont understand what your talking about and dont understand the depth of what someone can do, Why try to judge them based on your very tiny view of the world?

What do you honestly think you ll accomplish? Im putting you back on ignore, I dont know you got off my list.

... What the fuck are you even talking about now? Please dont give me advice, how about if you post here. You post what I asked and what is being discussed without you putting your opinions of whatever the hell you believe is absolute. Its meaningless to have a perspective like that.

EDIT: I honestly dont mean to come off as a complete dick, but judging someone else's understanding with one glace at your perspective and what you know is probably the easiest way to be ignorant.

You seem to going purely "nurture" its nature vs nurture dude. Its obviously both, in every way. Funny thing is, nature changes nurture and visa versa.

Just because you see understanding this as a "setback" does not mean it is a "setback" for everyone else, So do not assume it based on your perspective please. I do not tolerate that type of bullshit.

PLEASE get back to the thread. I am looking for different perspectives on social anxiety and problems associated with it, and connections that can be made and understood in many peoples perspectives. I need to understand what you struggle with, and why.

Again any perspective matters, this helps me process while I'm taking college classes for biology and neurology.

I've got some attention problems and it hurt my life quite a bit.
Highschool was all low-grades and teachers telling me that I'm wasting my potential, but I just could not do work.
That ended up with me doing pretty poorly grade-wise, and thus my university expenses were high as fuck and scholarships out of the question.

Insomnia has also been a big roadblock in my life.
My punctuality has always been affected greatly by my inability to sleep, as I'd be way too tired to wake up when I was supposed to.

Anxiety was a big problem until I started smoking weed, which magically abolished literally all of my anxiety problems within about 4 months of regular use.
Well actually, recently when my girlfriend was taken to the hospital in an ambulance (I was the only one there when the incident happened, long story but I posted it on here) I freaked out and had an anxiety attack in the hospital.
Social anxiety is still very present in my day-to-day life, and dealing with it is quite difficult.

My dexterity is fine.
Most likely above fine really. Can solve a rubik's cube in sub 25 seconds

I'm not sure if I can really comment on the loud noises thing, because I don't know what is a normal level of sound to be blocked :S
Could always do work with music on, at quite a volume too.

No, not that I know of.
An uncle who is not related by blood is schizophrenic.

Though I actually have something to add, I didn't see you asked about paranoia:
A lot of the time, I think that I am starting to see schizophrenic traits in myself and begin to freak out.
There are some weird things I've done, like written notes to myself to save in case my rationality became too fogged to tell people I had gone insane. This way, I'd be able to show somebody the note and explain it all.

Really, after Ive asked you fucking nicely to stay out of my thread and leave your pathetic attempts to make yourself feel better. Yet you continue to put your narrow minded perspective and verbally attack me.

Stop smoking weed, you have a very good chance of schizophrenia.

I would ask your doctor about wellbutrin, or get into nootropics. Weed will only make things worse in the long run.

Also semi-suicidal, so I think I'll just take that route if this proves to be schizophrenia. I now hate my life even more.

What is amazing is that you know this could be possible before any significant damage has occurred. Also, ask your doctor about welbutrin. Do not demand it as I am still trying to understand schizophrenia. There seems to be a few different types caused from different factors.

It seems like potentially wellbutrin will help you very well, unfortunately it is not very safe. I would honestly stick to nootropics, but nootropics are a dangerous way to go with a mental condition sometimes.

I would ask your doctor about that, slowly quit weed. Do not do it all at once. Weed as you have seem to noticed will only make matters worse, unfortunately its quite amazing at temporary anti-anxiety.

Like I said, it doesn't mean you don't need quit all together. Balance the pluses and minuses, but do not use it for anti-anxiety as potentially this could cause more problems including physical brain damage.

Also just a note, dont take my advice to heart as Im not 100% sure yet, no one is but just understand its a possibility.
