Migraine all day. Got 400$ in medical bills payed to Cleveland Clinic, so I'll be able to make an appointment for monday to get some more tramadol. I don't even remember being hospitalized in 2008 and 2009. I think the charges are bullshit, but I had to pay them so I could unfreeze my account. Hopefully I'll be able to prove that I wasn't hospitalized, and get the money back.
My head fuckin hurts.

Haha, I was waiting for someone to post this. I just woke up about 2 hours ago from a 4 hour nap. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to smoke or not.
If I do, it means I won't be getting any sleep at all before going in to work. If I don't, I'll likely be kept awake all night anyway by my boyfriend's incessant rambling on skype while he plays videogames.
Decisions, decisions.

Chillin. Went and had a big bowl of spicy pho after work to ease my cold symptoms and went and got some cough syrup too. Just relaxing. Got done watching yesterdays Daily Show and Colbert Report.
Still experimenting with this crazy drug called sobriety. It's some heavy shit.

Well, I just asked him if he wanted to and he said no. I kinda don't really want to either, just because I would like to attempt to get some sleep.
These are the times when I wish I had a nice indica so I could just knock myself the fuck out. This sativa is nice and different, but it has totally wrecked my sleep schedule
And after this bag is gone, I don't know when I'll get to smoke again. You can say weed isn't addictive, but I can't imagine my life without it. Even if I quit for a little while, I will always come back to it.

Yeah, despite my current break, I actually picked up a half oz of some DANK the other day. I have no plans to quit entirely, just to make it less of a daily thing. More of a weekend thing.

Worked my first day at a new job today. It's a high end plant nursery, which is cool, but I'm just doing docking (unloading plants) which isn't too cool, but maybe if I stick around for a little bit they'll realize I know a thing or two about plants and switch me to another position. I thought I was going to work 8 hours today, but I ended up working 12, with just one 30 minute lunch break, 4 hours in. Now that I read that sentence, it sounds kind of daunting, but I really didn't mind it that much, because the work isn't nearly as physically daunting as some previous jobs I've held. I actually enjoy some decent manual labor. I also need the money, so I was happy to get the hours.
I took a drug test a few days ago in order to get the job, so I started smoking again last night. I got ridiculously high to say the least. I was getting close eyed visuals. Seeing fractals and images of my imagination rather vividly. I was having intense wake induced lucid dreams that were happening so quickly, I couldn't really believe it.
Anyways, I'm pretty exhausted from the day so I ended up staying in tonight. I also work a half day tomorrow, and have to be there by 8am so I figured I might as well as not get too fucked up tonight. I'm going to try to cut back on the smoking for good and keep it for nights and weekends. It has a longer lasting effect on my than I initially realized, and it doesn't help me stay productive.
It's just so damn awesome

Yeah, I do it 2, maybe 3 times a week. I actually kinda like it that way. It doesn't get boring or monotonous, I don't really have a tolerance, and it just makes it that much more of a treat to look forward to. Plus saving money is always good.
I think that will probably change for me though once it is legal. I will be having all kinds of strains up in my house. I think I should make a weed blog or something, called 365 strains a year, and do a different strain each day

I've been working in garden centers for the last 10 years or so. It's pretty fun stuff for the most part. Pretty hard work, and sometimes out in shitty weather, but I really enjoy it.

Its spicy and smoky, with sort of a honey/fruit aftertaste. Its around $40 a fifth around here, which is absolutely worth every penny IMO.

Aw man the last place I worked was so much better. Working as a gardener in some botanical gardens that double as a private park was so awesome. I reapplied at that place and was on great terms with all of the management but a week later and they didn't call me back, so I got this job.
I'll probably call the executive of those gardens at some point though and see what the fuck is up. That's a job I wouldn't mind holding for a couple of years, which is a bold statement for me to say.

Yeah I think I would have to agree. Botanical Gardens beat out a nursery any day for me. I think I will make a trip to the Atlanta gardens this year. I went in the Fall once but there wasn't much in bloom at the time. The orchid house was awesome though

Sipping on a fresh Dr Pepper in a 12 oz. bottle.. never seen one like it before... and watching Lockup. I have a weird obsession with the jail shows. I'll watch them every time I see that they're on. It's crazy to see what it's like inside some of the worst prisons in the U.S.
Then I'm gonna hop on Black Ops and pop some heads. Boring, uneventful night here in this corner of the Universe. But I ain't complaining, it could be worse - I could have no fingers and toes.

Have you seen locked up abroad. That is some crazy shit. Some of those prisons in South America are fucked. They are run by an internal mafia in the prison!

LNC has been boring for like the past week. I don't know what's up. Maybe people are starting to get tired of it. It
It was my addiction for a while. Now I'm empty-handed and I don't know what to do with myself
So what did you do for 10 years at a garden center?

It goes through cycles. I remember back in MY days of LNC'ing, it was AWESOME. The same people were logged in each night, we all got fuxxored and it was great. I'm sure people who've been here much longer than myself have similar stories.

Just about everything. Started as a cashier, became assistant to the hard goods buyer and learned about that stuff (fertilizers, sprays, etc) became the hard goods buyer worked in nursery sales (trees and shrubs, outdoor) operating loader, forklift, etc became supervisor
left that job, and got a new one at a different garden center now I mostly work in the warehouse and stocking the shelves in hard goods, and am kinda the resident "know it all" who works in the info booth. Specializing in plant problem diagnosis.
It's been fun for sure. I wish the pay and benefits were better. Sometimes I think about going and getting a job at a bigger garden center for better pay and benefits. That would entail moving away from the town I currently live in and LOVE though. And honestly, I make enough money to smoke all the weed I want and go out for dinner and drinks whenever I want, so I guess I can't really bitch too much. I just wish the owners of this garden center weren't ass holes. I LOVE almost everyone I work with, including the general manager, but the owners are VERY involved, and are crazy money grubbing conservative jerks.

Yeah the LNC threads these days rarely even come close to the gold that was created during the glory days of LNC.

Haha yeah, for a while everyone was talking about what kind of sleeping pill they preferred
I wish it would hurry up and get back to a good cycle again. I need something to fill my time of being wide awake.

Nicechrisman, you should start your own nursery. An ethnobotanical one.

Well, it started at 12 tonight
I thought for a minute nobody was going to make it at all
Maybe there should be a nice middle ground or something. Maybe like 12:30 - 1:00 am? Is that still too early?
Much later than that and it isn't even worth it to chat in for some peeps.

that would be pretty bad ass. I've thought about starting my own small garden center. I don't really have the capitol to get it rolling though, plus it's kinda a bad economy to start a business right now. Some of my co workers and I have talked about buying the nursery, cuz the owners want to sell it. I think we could do a much better job of it than they do.

Thanks As for sleeping pills? I've got something called mirtazapine. Anytime I need sleep, it knocks me out for 12 hours. I got it because I am a severe insomniac. I have been since I was a baby.

I read the novel once in one sitting at a borders. They yelled at me that it wasn't a library, I told them to call the cops. They decided their time was better spent yelling at preteens reading manga about the place not being a library.
I book wasn't all that exciting to be honest. Don't remember much. He had a dog. that was cool.

Haha, no. I used to be one of those manga freaks when I was younger. I had a whole bookshelf of manga, but I've since sold most of it back to the bookstore to trade for other books.

Now I'm all hell-bent on trying to find a really fucked up story from an old Alfred Hitchcock collection.
It's about two stoner hep-cats who went to see an execution, but got all fucked in the head from watching someone writhe to death in an old fashioned gas chamber.

Haha, nah. I have a selective memory and selective hearing. I absorb what is interesting to me, and what isn't required of me to absorb. This anatomy class I am in right now is just killing me. I hate having to cram so much information in in such a short amount of time just so I can do good on a test.
I feel like that isn't the way to learn it. I have forgotten mostly everything I learned from the first part of the class anyway.
I feel like I would commit it to memory better if I did it on my own time, at my own pace.

I feel like a dumbass sometimes, knowing tons of useless, minuscule facts about drugs, but waifing when it comes to things pertinent to common elements of my daily life

Oh dag, the double day hangover sucks.
I'm on my fourth 8% 22 ounce brew, so I expect a bit of a wack in the head tomorrow.
I usually have to forget how I fell asleep to feel it hard the following evening.
Edit: Wild Turkey is a great get-wasted whiskey, too. Fuck that Wild Turkey honey shit. Stuff is strictly for Sallys.

jeebus, and you're trying to feel better?
I only saw one of the LOTR films (the final one), and I couldn't help but laugh louder than appropriate as all of the hobbits jumped on a bed like giddy schoolchildren.

goddamn, sounds like a crazy night
if you booze often and feel like it might partially be from inexposure of your GABA system, might I suggest phenibut?
it's rather overpriced, but it stimulates the GABA system in a mild way that, while slowing you down, doesn't exactly fuck you up (and it mediates moderate withdrawal from alcohol/benzos)
edit: it also has an addiction/physical withdrawal potential, though, so take 'er easy

I didnt find it to be a mindfuck at all. Its just all backwards. I loved the quantum parallel references scattered throughout. Great film in any case.

I never actually saw it, so my opinion is crap.
I just know what I've heard of it.
Then again, I know Funny Games is considered trash by a lot of people, while I found it interesting commentary.
Just because I find the presentation sickening, I know it doesn't void the film, but I still feel like I'll have a hard time getting through Irreversible.

Most people seem to focus on the rape, which is totally not the focus of the film imo. If youve seen enter the void and liked it then im pretty sure you'd like this.
Here's some music i just did sorta inspired by the vibes.
