Its spicy and smoky, with sort of a honey/fruit aftertaste. Its around $40 a fifth around here, which is absolutely worth every penny IMO.

Aw man the last place I worked was so much better. Working as a gardener in some botanical gardens that double as a private park was so awesome. I reapplied at that place and was on great terms with all of the management but a week later and they didn't call me back, so I got this job.
I'll probably call the executive of those gardens at some point though and see what the fuck is up. That's a job I wouldn't mind holding for a couple of years, which is a bold statement for me to say.

Yeah I think I would have to agree. Botanical Gardens beat out a nursery any day for me. I think I will make a trip to the Atlanta gardens this year. I went in the Fall once but there wasn't much in bloom at the time. The orchid house was awesome though

Sipping on a fresh Dr Pepper in a 12 oz. bottle.. never seen one like it before... and watching Lockup. I have a weird obsession with the jail shows. I'll watch them every time I see that they're on. It's crazy to see what it's like inside some of the worst prisons in the U.S.
Then I'm gonna hop on Black Ops and pop some heads. Boring, uneventful night here in this corner of the Universe. But I ain't complaining, it could be worse - I could have no fingers and toes.

Have you seen locked up abroad. That is some crazy shit. Some of those prisons in South America are fucked. They are run by an internal mafia in the prison!

LNC is boring tonight and nobody wants to talk about MY 10 years of working in garden centers
I think I'm gonna go soon unless you guys start entertaining me. Now hurry up and be entertaining

That shit is so nucking futs.

LNC has been boring for like the past week. I don't know what's up. Maybe people are starting to get tired of it. It
It was my addiction for a while. Now I'm empty-handed and I don't know what to do with myself
So what did you do for 10 years at a garden center?

I have only worked in my own "gardening centers" and I loved it. Not boring at all.

It goes through cycles. I remember back in MY days of LNC'ing, it was AWESOME. The same people were logged in each night, we all got fuxxored and it was great. I'm sure people who've been here much longer than myself have similar stories.

Just about everything. Started as a cashier, became assistant to the hard goods buyer and learned about that stuff (fertilizers, sprays, etc) became the hard goods buyer worked in nursery sales (trees and shrubs, outdoor) operating loader, forklift, etc became supervisor
left that job, and got a new one at a different garden center now I mostly work in the warehouse and stocking the shelves in hard goods, and am kinda the resident "know it all" who works in the info booth. Specializing in plant problem diagnosis.
It's been fun for sure. I wish the pay and benefits were better. Sometimes I think about going and getting a job at a bigger garden center for better pay and benefits. That would entail moving away from the town I currently live in and LOVE though. And honestly, I make enough money to smoke all the weed I want and go out for dinner and drinks whenever I want, so I guess I can't really bitch too much. I just wish the owners of this garden center weren't ass holes. I LOVE almost everyone I work with, including the general manager, but the owners are VERY involved, and are crazy money grubbing conservative jerks.

Yeah the LNC threads these days rarely even come close to the gold that was created during the glory days of LNC.

Haha yeah, for a while everyone was talking about what kind of sleeping pill they preferred
I wish it would hurry up and get back to a good cycle again. I need something to fill my time of being wide awake.

Nicechrisman, you should start your own nursery. An ethnobotanical one.
