syringe question...assembly required

My culture syringes came today In the package are 2 syringes with a black plastic screw in stopper where the needle goes. some alcohol wipes and two needles.
I was assuming it would come already put together now i'm worried that when i take the black cap off the culture solution is going to be exposed to air and contaminate... i do have a still air box.
Anyone put these bastards together before?

everytime i've bought a syringe they've come apart...simply put in your govebox, wipe the tip of area of the syringe down with alcohol wipe/towel...open the needle, twist off the cap and insert needle in one quick motion..

I assemble them open air and haven't had any issues.

Same... although now I'm a bit paranoid.

Don't worry about that. The needles themselves should come in sterile packs, right? As long as you've taken the most basic of precautions... washing your hands and such, the time necessary for assembly will not matter. My flamingo has done this thousands of times. As long as you aren't doing this in a truck stop stall, you will NOT get contamination from attaching the needle to the syringe.

Another question. The syringe i'll be using later tonight is 10cc's of oyster mushroom culture. Is it still 1cc per jar? (10 1/2 pints) Or do i use more since its not spores?

Less in all cases. Just a few drops of spores in plenty. And a little LC goes a long way.
