i agree.. never LC from agar, you have no clue what you have .. go to a grain grow and then once you know what you have make a clean LC from the grain grow.

me if you have questions about lasers Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles. FeelFamily resident tech guru

not to inject but to pull the lc out. also I don't have a stir bar so i'll have to use my hands to aggitate.

I use needleless withdrawal ports: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11491601#11491601 But an RTV port will work. Put in a marble to stir with. Polyfil is an adequate filter if you're careful. Don't fill your jar very full either. Less than half.

I was planing on using a quart jar with 2 cups of water. Also do you have to replace the lid every time with the tyvek filter and needle tip?

I'm still using the same lids from the build pics. Took the tyvek off, I use polyfil these days. But there's lots of ways to grow LC, I'm sure you can figure it out from here.
