Do you have a link to that? I know I've changed my positions over the years, but I don't recall ever supporting any kind of hatefest like that.

Well, of course if you supported it you wouldn't think that it is a hate fest right?

I'd like to think that if it was as hateful as that rally, I wouldn't support it. That's why I'd like to see Pris back up his claim. I don't take libelous accusations lightly.

Hatefest? The protestors?

ICNA TOP DONOR TO OVERSEAS HAMAS FINANCIER
(Coral Springs, FL) Americans Against Hate (AAH), the terrorist watchdog group, is calling on the United States government to shut down the offices and freeze the assets of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) for its role in the financing of Hamas. As well, AAH is calling on the U.S. government to place the Muslim Brotherhood of Pakistan, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), on the State Department list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) for the same.
In August of 2006, just nine short months ago, JI announced on its website that it had presented, via its charity Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF), a check for $99 thousand (six million rupees) to the head of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal. Mashaal thanked JI and stated that Hamas would continue to wage Jihad (war) against Israel.
ICNA was founded in 1971 as the American arm of JI. On AKF's website, ICNA is listed as the charity's two top donors,, ICNA Relief USA and ICNA Relief Canada. Another of the listed donors is ICNA's charity, Helping Hand.
AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman stated, "We have incontrovertible evidence that ICNA is part of JI and that JI is funding Hamas through a charity that ICNA is the top donor for. Given this proof, there is no reason whatsoever for the future existence of ICNA. In addition, given JI's financing of Hamas and given JI's communiqués with the leader of Hamas, there are clear grounds for the placement of JI on the State Department list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations. We call on the United States government to take immediate action, with respect to both of these organizations."
To learn more about JI's and ICNA's financing of Hamas, read Kaufman's FrontPage Magazine piece, 'Helping Hand to Hamas'

hate speech is free speech
I recall there was an oath to defend the constitution that all military personnel made, to deny these people the right to assemble or halt them from speaking would violate that oath.
I dont agree with their message but I defend their right to say it

yeah... that jesus was all about some love
Luke 14:26 If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters - yes, even his own life - he cannot be my disciple.
Luke 22:35-36 35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. 36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take [it], and likewise [his] scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Matthew 10:34-35 34 Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword. 35 For I have come to set a man 'against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
I'm no biblical scholar and certainly no Christian, but I can't help but fee like some of these quotes were either taken out of context or lost meaning in translation.
Luke 14:26- I would take this to mean that if someone is truly to set out on the spiritual path, they must first be disappointed with certain aspects of their life. This is often the stimulus that propels people on this path
Luke 22:35-meaning that the spiritual seeker who is in touch with his spiritual center doesn't need material items to be complete.
Luke 22:36-? I got nothing...
Matthew 10:34- probably meaning that the spiritual seeker does not truly seek peace but rather inquiry (the sword is often a reference to this)
Matthew 10:35- again, I got nothing.
You want to hear some really crazy shit read some old testament. Shit about keeping slaves, and raping unmarried women, etc.
dude... it's the word of god, do not try and interpret the word of god as you want to see it, these were his words, if god had meant for it to be your interpretation then he surely would have said that
