So, this is the part were i ask 4 all of you guys to state your thoughts on the "WAR", and what you think about the overthrough of the Iraqi gov. and other countries that might be in the for front of the war. Like Syria and Iran? will they best next in the "war on terror". And the only reason im posting this in the trip tips form is because i want you guys or at leastl the ones that use shrooms and other such psychedelics to expand their mind so to speak, to coment about it from their trips. I'll post more about what i mean tomarrow, i've gotta jet. peace

Why doens't(sp) anyone spell that word correctly?! You mean "doesn't"? Hard to say, but I believe that many people DO spell it correctly.

actually, i had my first trip the other night. it was amazing, and i did end up discussing the war with a friend who was tripping with me (also for the first time). we sorta came to the conclusion that mushrooms really really really put everything in black&white, so to speak. like it made us sort of forget about all the bullshit details about the war, and just realize that in any way, shape, or form, it is FUCKED UP. now, as i hate sounding like one of those people who cant back up their view against the war, if you want to discuss this further with me, pm me!

Amen to that Lost Metropolis. If the people want to fight or feel that the war is justified, let them fight. I'm happy right where I am; you won't see me enlisting in this meaningless war.

I tripped on the 21st a day after being in a march for peace. well lets just say I was still alittle too pumped about war to be eating mushrooms. I ate them with a friend and he decided to talk about the war..well hes pro war..and im completely anti war..after a long discussion about the war I finally gave up cause he was too hard headed to talk to about this..this was like 45 mins after eating the shrooms..so it wasnt like wasting a trip. Well I enjoyed the trip but at the end a friend drove me home..im just chillin in a dark room thinking about stuff and all the sudden the automatic timer on my tv turned on to a news station which of course had the war. So Im like ahhhhhhhhh...and after that george bush kept on popping into my CEV's... I think its all bullshit. All the prowar people claim that its cause of the whole 9/11 thing...there is no proven link..another thing, If a country had weapons of mass destruction, wouldn't they use them back on us since we are bombing the shit out of them? Its not fair that the Iraqi people have to suffer for a greed for oil...Its just not fair. Alot of people seem to think being anti-war is unpatriotic or pro-sadaam..well thats just bullshit too. If I ran around mumbling with a texan accent, killing innocent Iraqi's then I would goto Jail....but just cause Bush is the president means he can get away with it.. Its so wrong..

Well, i'm not pro-war and im not anti-war. I'm a who gives a shit about the war type. For as long as animals (yeah we are still animals though most of us seem to have forgotten that) have been around, there has been conflict, and until evolution brings us up a few more thousand notches, there will always be conflict. One tribe kills the other tribe for territory, termites fight over who's wood is who's, blah blah blah, It's nothing new.

i dont know what kind of pro war people you are taking to casue 9/11 has nothing to do with the war...thats al queda. And i dont know who the fuck came up witht he stupid idea about the war for oil...if buch was stupid enought o take there oil then he would not be in office..and if he does then i know a lot of people wont be happy. The war is to free the iraqi citizans from there opressors...the oil is to give them moeny to fuel THEIR country.
once again if you havent realized that this war is not about oil i feel very sorry for you and weep at the mere thought of youre mental capabilities.
if you dont beleive me you will see. I dont belive that bush (regardless if i think he is a good pres) is stupid enough to lie to the american people so openly....i mean wtf .. if all of it was a lie then the public you outrage so much it would be like a revolution...that will not happen...he..at least i hope he istn that fucking stupid.l

Sorry but bush is just crazy, looks like he is on crack or something and blair is just lap dog to bush. As for the T.V and other media I do not beleive a word of anything any of them are say. So far its all propigander mind controll the only way to truly see whats happaning is to probably wait a year for the truth to emarge or go and watch the war live.

Im with you LostMet. The war is going on and all, the most i could do...would be to watch tv and be like OMG and start thinking about the war. Thinking about it wont accomplish me anything of any use, and it will only disrupt my peace of mind. im not gonna worry about it. and im gonna try not to even think about it...even thought its all around me...im supposed to be updated about it, reading the news and all that mombo jumbo. BLAH! Im just gonna be warndering around toking my pipe, if you happen to cross my path while im enjoying the sweet herb, i'll pass the pipe your way good day

Note: I had written a longer, more in depth reply but my drunk ass hit the control key and something else which loaded another link and upon hitting the back button my entire writing was wiped out Anyways... lemme try again, quickly this time:
"And i dont know who the fuck came up witht he stupid idea about the war for oil...if buch was stupid enought o take there oil then he would not be in office.." He's not out to take their oil, but if Iraq is left to conquer surrounding nations they can monopolize a significantly large portion of the oil trade which would not be in our best interests. This is why I believe Bush was so rash to act so quickly against Iraq, when there are similar (if not greater) problems elsewhere (eg. the immediate danger of North Korea). If there wasn't this economic interest, I wholeheartedly believe that the US would have been MUCH more hesitant to engage in such a battle. Unrelated yet related food for thought: The gov't subcontracted a certain company to head all oil cleanup operations for this war... and guess who was the former CEO of said company was? None other than vice president Dick.
"The war is to free the iraqi citizans from there opressors" That is an idealistic viewpoint. One that the government would absolutely love everyone to believe. However, I the greater reason is to disarm a dictator who has the potential to cause a serious future threat - coupled with the economic interests of preventing an oil monopoly.
While I am not against the war, I am very discouraged by the means with which the US as a nation is attempting to reach an ends. There were other, smarter, ways to go about this whole mess. I fear that there is a very real potential that we will suffer a large number of casualties which the American public won't be able to deal with very easily. For the record, I also think Bush is a jackass and will be incredibly disheartened if he is re-elected for a second term

Not only is it oil, of course that is a big reason.
Nuclear weapons development is another one. It has nothing to do with the "danger" of other nations developing nukes, cuz if they do, the U.S. can't sell their weapons to other countries like they've been doing for so long.
It's a billion dollar industry for the U.S. government and military. Why else do you think they threw such a hissy fit about North Korea and India developing nukes? Cuz it's competition for them.
It's all about the money in this sad, fucked up world.

Heh, someone with whom I agree.
I don't think the Admin cares a whit about the Iraqi people. I only hope that their general lot is improved as a secondary effect.

i hope you all know that the task of rebuilding iraq...will be contracted exclusively to US companies..also all the oil will henceforth be handled by US companies who can in turn sub contract it to compnies of other nationalities...like United Kingdom...so..whatever
