G: How have you resisted anything?

Actually... I've been approached by several people in the past few years who wanted me to go in on their scam with them.

One guy was a retired veterinarian that I was talking to at a Barnes & Nobles. Apparently I came off as a fast-talker... and he thought that I would be a good spokesperson for his scam. It involved ripping off college students in something akin to a pyramid scam... but it dealt with large amounts of money. When I finally realized what he was doing, I quit taking his calls... before any students were sucked in. I never heard any outcome... I hope no one got screwed.

Another one was borderline major felony (though I would've been insulated, I didn't do it)... it involved some questionable bankruptcy maneuvers. Again... I was wanted for my gabbing abilities. Do I have "Minister of Propaganda" written on my face or something?

Then there was a drug-related scam (that ripped off users)...
I'm not going into the details of that one, but I didn't do that either.

G: You mean somebody has been offering to publish your bullshit? Congratulations!

I never said that I was a writer.
But I did have two (different) people offer to publish two poems of mine.
One was about death that was going to go into a professor's book (I declined as the poem was too personal). Another was going to be published in a local magazine run by artists (which never came together because of elitist attitudes)... that poem is on my website. In both cases, I was not offered money... but they were publishing offers.

Scam, I saw that one too. Back in September, I think. Although they had Killswich Engage with them , too, and we missed Sentenced. This Depswa band they had with them this time, I swear to god that they were Killswitch Engage, but they had changed their name to try not to suck again. (It didn't work).
Peace.

2 local bands, Ransom and Audio Black opened

Ransom was fuckin really awful

AudioBlack had a cool edge and groove to them I thought, but a few 'opener basher' type people in the crowd started booing them, so of course everyone else goes along with it because they have the attention span of a fucking coffee machine.

You should check out the new mudvayne CD...Every song corresponds to a sign of the zodiac according to golden dawn and other western mystery school traditions. If you know about astrology and kabbalah, the album and lyrics take on a completely different meaning.

I was a HUGE Mudvayne fan (I'm wearing an old Mudvayne t-shirt right now acutally) but after hearing their new single, i was turned off, it didn't grab you by the balls like Dig or any other song on L.D. 50. Silenced and A World So Cold are pretty good but I'm not drawn in like I expected to be. And their new alien look image is too cheesy for my tastes, they always claimed it was music first, makeup to only add to the live performance, yet on every magazine cover they pose in full costume, bahhh. I really hope they don't end up like Slipknot, one of my favourite bands that went down the toilet. I would still recommend L.D. 50 to anyone, and their live DVD is not bad either.

Chodamunky, a lot of the alien image is just to fuck with people, like in the press, and the people that don't listen to the music. They were saying something about it in a recent Guitar World Magazine.

They played the Millwaukee show with no masks, no paint, no costumes: just normal people. I thought that was really interesting.

Peace.
