How does your workload affect your trips?
    #1405934 - 03/24/03 10:56 AM (20 years, 11 months ago)

If you have a looming paper due after the weekend, does this bring about negative trips usually? What if you've busted your ass and finished a lot of work, will the feeling of freedom from responsibility bring about a good trip? What if your set is affected by the work you've been doing all week, and, despite the fact that you're done with it, you're still reeling from the amount of shlt you had to deal with?

Found in a journal laying on the side of the road:

"My experience:

I can't trip when I have something (paper, project, test, whatever) looming over me. It would set me off into a bad thought process. When I feel good about myself (I just finished a ton of work, now I'm free to do what I want!) I find my trips are much better; worryless, free, and generally enlightening. If I'm feeling mentally weak (for lack of a better term) from doing a bunch of work, I imagine that I would have a good trip but my mind would be much more prone to making a big deal of subtle bad vibes, even if they aren't necessarily 'bad.'

Again, this is just my experience."
