Hello everybody, I just finished my first cambodian batch and I cant get them dry enough!! I put them right in front of an oscillating fan for 2 days then in Tupperware with some little decadent packs but still they will not come dry. I am getting more decadent soon but I'm worried they are going to get moldy. I think the problem is that I live in a very humid part of canada...right on the Ocean.
Is there a bulk decadent I can use Rather then little packs of pearls? Or some other trick to drying them?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated Thanks...

buy yourself a food dehydrator... like used to make jerky. You can get a cheap one online for >30$ or check thrift stores in your area etc if you cant afford one from a regular retail store.

I've heard that the heat may be some cause for concern... it could result in a loss of potency. But I suppose the greatest loss of potency would be a contamination that forces you to throw them all out.
FYI it's desiccant, not decadent.
LOL.
"I am getting more decadent soon" = "I am getting more morally decayed soon"

If you want a bulk desiccant, you can buy Epsom salts and cook them in an oven to remove the water (AKA make the salt anhydrous). It's an excellent drying agent. I'm sure you can find Teks on Google. We've successfully dried many lbs of mushies using a fan and anhydrous Epsom salts.

Wrap them up in a newspaper with the dessicants if you like and put it near a heating vent or somewhere dry and warm. 2 days ain't shit give em ab a week. If you're impatient than do what I just mentioned then put them in the oven on the lowest possible temp (might want to keep the oven door slightly cracked so it doesnt get too hot) and check on them every 20mins or so till theyre cracker dry, just dont forget ab them! Give thanks to the mushrooms and Enjoy!

Go to the store and buy the stuff that draws moister out of the air in your basement. Its call damprid. Put it in a container cover with a screen and put your fruits right on top of the screen. Cover with the lid and they will be dry the next day.No heat to break down cems or anything always worked greta for me.
