Hissy fit much?
http://badgerherald.com/news/2011/02/28/bill_circulating_in_.php
Quote:
Although representatives deny any connection to the recent prank call on the governor (ed. note: ), two legislators began circulating a bill Monday that would ban making trick calls masking the caller’s true identity.
Sen. Mary Lazich, R-Waukesha, and Rep. Mark Honadel, R-Milwaukee, authored a bill that would prohibit tricking the call’s recipient into believing the caller is someone they are not for malicious purposes.
...
However, law enforcement and government regulatory agents who use phone spoofing to fight crime would be exempt from the law.
There's your small government teabaggers, defending the Constitution... oh wait. How is this supposed to be enforced exactly? And why does it only apply to phone calls? And why can the government (otherwise known as OBAMA'S JACKBOOTED UNION THUGS!!!11) prank-call us but not the other way around? I guess they can't be bothered with such details when a dim-bulb governor's fee-fees are on the line, but I'm sure they'll be disappointed whenever somebody informs them that, no, this won't allow them to arrest the guy from the Buffalo Beast.
Excuse me, somebody identifying herself as Christina Hendricks is calling me, I've gotta cut this one short.

This is further proof that the information Walker revealed in the prank call was new and damaging.

Yes, because everyone obeys the law. All the time. Always!
I know... lets outlaw stealing! And murder! And rape!
Let's outlaw ALL bad things. Then no-one will ever do anything bad again!

Or you could just admit your statement was foolish.
I guess it's more likely that all crime will stop tomorrow, seeing as there are laws and all.

The original argument was about a proposed law.
Now you're stating that he's foolish for proving that a law already covers this sort of thing?
Presumably because he proved you wrong. You don't seem to have a point.

You're way off base man. I said that a new law was pointless because what they're trying to outlaw is already outlawed and that if a new law is made, it is unlikely to stop the people who were already willing to break the first law...
You know what, why don't you come back and read this thread again when you've gained some reading comprehension skills?

Nope. I'm thinking he made a foolish statement because, he did. The proposed law is a state law, the one he points to is a federal law.
I didn't call him foolish, just his statement.

Says the guy who appears to not know the difference between state and federal law.

I await your "witty" response.

did you know that it's against the law to smuggle drugs into this country on a federal level but that wasnt enough for some people, Joe Biden wanted to make a law that made it illegal to smuggle drugs into this country by submarine... the goal in politics is to see how many ways you can bleed the tax payer and to pass redundant legislation in order to justify remaining in their elected positions...

I'm all about the dogs. Here's another pic.
He's not huge but all muscle at just over 100lbs. I work him out hard and he can jump higher than my head. He's friendly to all (except if another starts a fight and he's always won) and I have him fully obedience trained on and off leash.

That is a very cool dog. Do they have the the drooling problem that full breed mastiffs have? I loved my mastiff, she was one of the best dogs I ever owned, but she slimed people
