To much water?
    #14054625 - 03/02/11 01:29 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I pressure cooked a couple jars and I think I might have had the water level a little to high in my PC?
1.How do I know if the water level fucked up the jars or not?
The brf looks pretty damp, but there isnt any standing water just looks damp.
2.Is it ok if the water level is touching the jars in the PC?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated
I got about 10 jars that I inoculated this morning.
I have one jar that has been colonizing and I see signs of myc growning. I will post pics as soon as I see growth worth taking photos!:pipesmoke:

Yeah I did, but some jars probably could been covered a little better. Substance just looks a lot wetter but the jar wall doesnt have water on it and they look different from the last jars.
Maybe its just from the steam?
I think ill just knock them up anyway.

do you have alot of condensation in the jars?

I had it happen once or twice with rye berries. just took them out of the jar let them dry on a clean towel then pressure cooked them again. with no problems i add.

No condensation on the jar wall at all just the cake itself looks damp they are cooling down right now so maybe they will dry out.
