I use to drink Starbucks all the time but found it cheaper to buy a bottle of Maxwellhouse instant. $2.07 every morning can be quite expensive. It's like 6 dollars for a bottle of instant.
Do you drink coffee?
I always have a cigar with my coffee it's so refreshing in the morning.

I have one of the Keurig coffee makers and make a couple cups of Dark Magic most mornings before heading to work. I'll occasionally make a cup of mocha and mix sugar in it for something a bit sweeter, but I usually just want bold black coffee in the morning to help wake up.

I just had a French vanilla cappuccino from Dunkin Donuts. I didn't drink coffee up until about 3 months ago, so I still sweeten the hell out of it and use a bunch of creamer.
Weird thing is I have DESPISED coffee for my entire life. Then one morning I decided to steal a few sips of my girlfriends coffee and I liked it. It was like something just clicked and the taste was agreeable one day. Now that I think about it, I guess the same think kinda happened with beer, just at a much earlier age.

I'm a bit of a coffee snob. Can't drink that instant stuff.
Some Starbucks beans are alright, but it's always horribly burned at the stores.
If you want cheap Colombian coffee, Eight O'Clock Coffee is pretty damned good. You can get it at Walmart. It won a nationwide taste test for best Colombian coffee, and it's like $3-4/bag.
I usually buy my beans from Klatch Coffee. Good stuff. A little cheaper than Starbucks for some gourmet coffee.

I usually drink green tea, but I do enjoy the taste of coffee. It kinda gets me more jacked up than I want to be usually though. It seems to affect my consciousness differently than tea does.

The cheapest good beans I've found are at Sams Club, they have a house brand that's got some pretty legit beans for ~10/2.25 lbs.

Sippin' on some coffee right now. Sometimes I love it because it keeps me going when I'm tired at my job that I hate, other times I have to lay off it because it makes me short tempered and impatient with my annoying coworkers.

I was once a member of the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America), and I drank a lot of coffee. Never liked Charbucks, I mean Starbucks, they have a habit of dark roasting (ie, burning) their beans. Despite what they say the roast of the bean is, its all a burnt dark roast. The darker the roast the weaker the coffee, regardless of the strong taste. Strongest beans tend to be either a cinnamon, or medium roast. Peets makes really good coffee, but a little pricey. Nowadays, I drink Guyaki, a brand of yerba mate teas. I'm partial to the Revel Berry in a can.

I'm not sure French presses take much more effort than an autodrip coffee maker. They definitely do a better job though. Turkish coffee is my favorite but I can't stomach it as much anymore.

Problem with instant coffee, it seems so much weaker at one 'cup'. I had four cups of Taster's Choice last night before bed. No problem there, although strangely I've always felt a bit tired for the first 30-45 minutes after a cup of coffee.
Apparently that's not common.

McDonald's DOES have good coffee. I was skeptical at first, but I'm hooked on their caramel mocha. It tastes like a milkshake; I'm sure it's full of fat and calories.

Bitch to use? I don't really see how it's in any way a bitch to use. And it makes as much as the size of your press, some do up to 2L.

The reason it tastes good is because you're tasting the cream and sugar-- not the coffee. I can't stand McDonald's coffee. Although I hear you can ask them to make you a fresh pot... I'm sure it comes with a nice loogey.

McDonalds is easily the best coffee in the fast food business, as far as that goes.
I use my french press almost daily with some freshly ground beans. On the other days I drink black tea. Depends I guess.

i lived in Seattle for too long, became a fuckin' coffee snob and now that i've left Seattle it's difficult to find good locally roasted beans
that said, i've settled for whole foods organic sumatra/png blend. my stomach can't handle the high acidity found in some beans and Sumatra is known for it's smoothness and low acidic content.
i use a french press and grind the beans every morning. it's a good ritual and one i thoroughly enjoy.
