Coffee.
    #14053100 - 03/02/11 07:20 AM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I use to drink Starbucks all the time but found it cheaper to buy a bottle of Maxwellhouse instant. $2.07 every morning can be quite expensive. It's like 6 dollars for a bottle of instant.

Do you drink coffee?

I always have a cigar with my coffee it's so refreshing in the morning.

I have one of the Keurig coffee makers and make a couple cups of Dark Magic most mornings before heading to work.  I'll occasionally make a cup of mocha and mix sugar in it for something a bit sweeter, but I usually just want bold black coffee in the morning to help wake up.

I just had a French vanilla cappuccino from Dunkin Donuts. I didn't drink coffee up until about 3 months ago, so I still sweeten the hell out of it and use a bunch of creamer.

Weird thing is I have DESPISED coffee for my entire life. Then one morning I decided to steal a few sips of my girlfriends coffee and I liked it. It was like something just clicked and the taste was agreeable one day. Now that I think about it, I guess the same think kinda happened with beer, just at a much earlier age.

I'm a bit of a coffee snob. Can't drink that instant stuff.

Some Starbucks beans are alright, but it's always horribly burned at the stores.

If you want cheap Colombian coffee, Eight O'Clock Coffee is pretty damned good.
You can get it at Walmart.
It won a nationwide taste test for best Colombian coffee, and it's like $3-4/bag.

I usually buy my beans from Klatch Coffee. Good stuff.
A little cheaper than Starbucks for some gourmet coffee.

I usually drink green tea, but I do enjoy the taste of coffee. It kinda gets me more jacked up than I want to be usually though. It seems to affect my consciousness differently than tea does.

It's pretty close to green tea, a bit more uplifting than it. I don't have a gourd but I want one :stoner: Its the best way to start a day, some yerba mate and vape hits

The cheapest good beans I've found are at Sams Club, they have a house brand that's got some pretty legit beans for ~10/2.25 lbs.

anybody ever use a french press? It can be kind of a bitch to use and doesn't make very much at one time, but it makes a DAMN good cup of coffee.

Sippin' on some coffee right now. Sometimes I love it because it keeps me going when I'm tired at my job that I hate, other times I have to lay off it because it makes me short tempered and impatient with my annoying coworkers.

I was once a member of the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America), and I drank a lot of coffee.  Never liked Charbucks, I mean Starbucks, they have a habit of dark roasting (ie, burning) their beans.  Despite what they say the roast of the bean is, its all a burnt dark roast.  The darker the roast the weaker the coffee, regardless of the strong taste.  Strongest beans tend to be either a cinnamon, or medium roast.  Peets makes really good coffee, but a little pricey.
Nowadays, I drink Guyaki, a brand of yerba mate teas.  I'm partial to the Revel Berry in a can.
