Feed My Horse SPORES????

So if I were to theoretically feed my horse a sterile solution of cubensis spores every day for a couple months, would his shit not start sprouting shrooms like crazy? (weather permitting)
I mean like 3 entire dark spore prints EVERY DAY.....
Anyone with advice on this?

Interesting, I bet you would have better luck just spreading the spores on the dung pile, or letting several piles of shit fruit and spore till they die in different parts of the pasture and eventually the entire pasture should be ready to colonize any new droppings.
Im no expert, but thats my amateur opinion.
Also anyone know ho to get my keyboard off french modeÉ
(É, that is a question mark to the french apparently)

I lived on a horse farm for a time. It was a haven for wild actives, cubes and galandoi mostly. We'd drop dried caps into feed once a week. 1 or 2 caps per horse.
No ill effects to the horses, but it's hard to say for certain "Yes, this is why this place is so plentiful". It's a country horse farm that's been cranking for 3 generations now (I can't be THAT old...... crap. ) so numerous factors are involved. I've seen great hauls and lame ones, often at odds with what we'd predicted based on weather and such. But I digress.
Try it. Won't hurt.
Not all strains will work in your environment, so keep that in mind. Find out what actives are wild in your area (or at least in your climate type) and start from there.
And unlike everyone else's threads on this, please let us know what you do and how it turns out. Even a total failboat can be helpful to know about.

A quick search will reveal this works with cows. I've not ever seen a wild cubensis on horse manure. I don't know if anyone else has or not, but I've only seen it on cow. RR

Lolz koolaid.
Indeed RR I have seen the posts about cows, but i do not have any cows.
And mathias that is interesting anecdote, but i would NEVER feed my horse caps. Now a carrot thats been rolled around in spores, thats another story.
i don't EVER want to trip-sit a horse. Trip sitting my cat was hard enough.

if you really want the shrooms to grow outa natural horse shit maybe just make some spawn and plant it around the field with all the spores you plan on feedin the horse it would probably kill at least half of them in the digestive tract.. if anything take those 3 prints a day and make a spray bottle with spore solution and spray the shit yourself and youll get better chances.. thats what my logic says...

Okay, your logic is relatively sound my friend, but I am SERIOUSLY considering doing this for a few reasons. 1. THe horse does ALL the damn work. I don't have to make a spray bottle solution, I don't have to walk around and look for horse shit. All I have to do is collect the shrooms when said weather patterns are favorable. 2. ALL I would have to do is literally smear a carrot with so many spores you couldnt see the orange any more. Then just feed it to him.
Well I'm trying it anyhows, well see how it goes.

1 or 2 good sized caps is NOTHING to a half-ton horse, trip-wise. That's about a gram in the belly of a 1000lb beast. For humans that ratio would be about 1 tenth of a gram. Yeh, we all WISH they were that potent....
It may take time to find the right technique and strain for your area. What is in the horse's normal diet? A fungicide in the feed = disaster. I've only used organic or self-grown feeds and just dealt with the high storage maintenance and so on, so I'm not savy on commercial feeds. Details, details.
What other types of mushrooms grow in your area? When and how they grow can give you some clues as to how to go about this.
Hardly effortless, but still brilliant.
Ignore naysayers and remain skeptical of sycophants.
