I have inoculated 4 pint jars of WBS with cubensis malabar spore syringe today. since my house is too cold for colonization (59-62F) i placed them in my FC while my subtrate fom my first grow is on its 3rd flush. my FC is the only warm place in the house and it's about 69-72F, i cant get it warmer due to money problems. and RH is about %95. i buried the jars to the half in the perlite.
is this ok for colonization?

I ended up having one jar colonize just like this, it turned out okay but it was extremely fluffy and pushed up against the glass in the jar, I think the excess humidity was not very good for it, otherwise it did turn out fine.

i talked about humidity with some people and they all told me that it wouldbe harmless for colonizing jars. i wonder if they're wrong or not.
can someone clarify this?
andghotbijr, what was in your jars, wbs?

Oh my bad I missed the wbs part, my jars were just brf cakes. Like I said though, at least in my case, the jar was fine just very fuzzy and smashed up at first, it leveled out afterward though. Also I should mention my jar was a bit more than half colonized when I put it in the FC so it may have also had the chance to overcome issues with humidity based on it's early growth. Personally I'd think humidity wouldn't be much of an issue though, other than my fear of it constricting the air holes on my jar, but I don't know if that applies for you.

i wonder if it'll be the same with my jars. i'd be really happy if someone experienced can clarify this topic.
