Creatively Destroy a Car

My buddy had this old beater car and wants a reason to get a new one. Problem is that his wife wont let him get rid of it because it still runs and gets them to and from work. What would be some ways to destroy it? Creativity would be greatly appreciated since he has a great sense of humor.

Not all that creative, but you could take it to a destruction derby. I don't really know how that shit works, but it seems like people pretty much just put on a helmet and ram their beaters into each other.

i love this subject.
i would take a road trip to somewhere with big ass snow banks on either side of the street and get up to speed and ping pong back and fourth inbetween the imbankments. add ebrake a neccessary...
you could take it to the shop and rack it poorly and let it fall off the rack.
sawzall... just drain teh gas first.
dont change the oil..
disconnect the oil light drain oil and head out to freeway.
loosen up the driveshaft (if equipped and hit 80 mph) and wait..
if its a front wheel drive car. take wendys trays, put them under rear wheels, apply ebrake and go drive around a parking lot with alot of poles..
weld the water pump.
remove the serp. belt completely
ghost drive off a cliff.
blow it up mythbuster style
take it to a dealership
ummmm i think i am out of idears right now.. ill get back with more.

If the old beater gets good mileage and runs good, I wouldnt get rid of it. I already went through a Status Car phase and decided that my beat up, paid for corolla that gets over 40 to a G on the highway, that is fine with me, I don't GAF what people think, I'd rather have the car payment that I would have with a new car go into something else, drugs, new guitars, or savings.
If he has to destroy it, give it to my ex wife and let her drive it a few days.

I did that back in highschool. Was fun as hell
Why doesn't he just get a cheap as dirt fun car and insure it as a weekend vehicle and keep the beater? if that's too logical, depending on the transmission, do something like drop tiny metal pieces into the transmission, or perhaps keep neutral bombing it (or launch, if it's a manual) til something breaks. Fun and will really fuck it up
