Funny, with the way social circles work no doubt I know someone that you know. Or know someone, that knows someone, that you know haha....There's actually a handful of fellow shroomerites that live in or around Chico.

I go to vapor room a lot to use their valconos. Too bad everyone in there are old people who don't want to be friendly for most part.
Sanctuary will smoke you out with their vape if you buy weed from them. Place beats the shit out of vapor room.
Delorous park is filled with hipster wannabe street kids. I think it sucks
I live about .5 miles from the Randall Meusum. That is one of the most awesome parks. It looks over all of SF/bay area and is a beautiful hill to hike. It is right over masonic.

hit me up on aim abundleofjoy123 if you want to know spots in san francisco.
I spent months exploring/driving around as I got clean and my friends were loaded. I needed something to do so I drove all over and visited 95% of parks.

What really turned me off about SF was that the locals were often very harsh towards travelers. I got verbally threatened several times even though i wasnt starting anything. Many people had this attitude of "this is my town and Ive lived here this long and you travelers cant just come here and live here". I got robbed, scammed and beat up all while I was there. Hard drugs were running completely rampant and turning people into savages. I took a nap in the park and got woken up by a cop who said there was a homicide there 2 days prior. The filmore kids and the homebums were not the friendliest lot. The scumfucks and wrecking crew were a little better to me. There was also a ton of wing nuts...these people wandering around shouting inanities and talking to themselves.
Golden gate park is not really safe for travelers or night. Delorous was much safer and i was never threatened there. I honestly felt safer staying in the tenderloin than haight/ashbury.

Ranked 2nd or 3rd in livability worldwide. I might be heading back there soon. Shame it seems to be going downhill real fast with these cultures clashing.
Yeah, at the moment I live in Perth (Australia) which ranks highly too but Melbourne has so much more cool stuff going on and it's also a lot closer to the other capital cities in Australia. More and more of my friends are moving there which sucks.
I haven't visited Scandinavia or Canada but those countries and their cities also rank highly. I wouldn't want to live in a country that has high levels of corruption.

I've yet to find "the perfect city.". Every place has it's downsides though, just depends on what you can put up with (or how much money you have).
If I had to choose a place to live, it'd be between Chicago, Seattle, and somewhere in Norcal/Oregon coast.

East Bay all the way. Sf is cool, but, i like looking at it from across the bay. I only ever go there to go to Golden Gate Park anyway.

honestly, the language more than anything else.
i could learn Norwegian or Spanish if i wanted to live in Oslo or BA because i would need to. id love to learn French (again) for the simple joy of the language itself.
i took 4 years of French in high school but, as you can imagine, there isnt a huge French speaking population in Philadelphia. i forgot a lot of it.
Lille is def a small town.. very slow paced. generally i like larger cities but a lot of Paris is like living in freakin Disneyland. i go out of my way walking in NYC to avoid Times Square.. the tourists are horrible. that alone makes it more appealing.
i have family in Geneva but that is even more expensive than Lille.
oh and i dont see what the big deal is with SanFran either.. i was kinda bored the whole time.

i wouldnt really know cuz i have only lived in a couple big cities, houston and a phoenix, neither of which is particularly desirable. i like them both in some ways, but houston slightly more, just cuz it is home.
i loved living in northern arizona, though.
