Hi guys,
I am just starting out in this hobby, and I thought I would help the other newbies in my area looking for source. Most garden centers up here in the frigid north aren't open yet. So here is some useful info:
Coir: Available at most Canadian Tires. Comes in a large brick in the garden area of the store. Its called "The original cocopeat". Under 10 bucks and you get a ton of it. Its also available at most Home Hardware stores in smaller bricks.
Vermiculite: Very hard to find in decent quantities. They have small bags (9 L) at the home depot. Home Hardware has 20 L bags. Most will not have it on the shelf due to the time of year, but just call the garden dept and have them order it in for you. I just placed my order and it will be in in 3 days. Order product ALTWIN brand verm Item #5053265.
Tyvek: FREE. Most all staples stores. They had a fedex self-serve box (usually near the front door). Open it up and you'll find fedex "Pak" envelopes. Help yourself .
Also, if you act fast, Zellers has their pressure cookers on sale for half off this week (until friday). I recommend the the 9 litre. THe 5 is too small. Its on sale for $37.49 (which is cheaper than most are going for used).
I hope this is useful. I plan on be an active member on here. I really like reading the grow logs on here and have a couple of different experiments in mind when my LC arrives from sporelab.

Your best bet would be to copy and paste it over to the supplies thread.
