Different WBS tek

Theres no telling how much time i have spent reading on here...BUT im in no way, shape,or form claiming ive read every WBS post on here by any means... Maybe this isnt a new TEK?? But i have never read about it and found it difficult to make a decision whether to simmer WBS or not. SOOO this is my solution to an easy problem (in my opinion). I did 10 quart jars in my 23 quart presto pressure cooker. I used one B+ syringe from sporeworks and one Huatla syringe i made from a spore print. Everyone always complains how dirty/messy the WBS tek is because of straining etc. So, I happened to have a really fine mesh bag. Put my bird seed (i bought the rural king brand) in the bag. Soaked for 12 hours in a big pot.. During the soak, i stirred/ agitated the bag (maybe 4 times) until the water got all gross looking..Dumped the water and filled it back up with fresh water. After 12 hrs of soaking and changing the water 4-5 times... I boiled a pot of water (seperate) and dumped the boiling water on the WBS.. Let it sit for maybe 20 mins and then drained again. Let the bag of WBS drain for maybe an hour or so.. Pressure cooked for about an hour and 15 mins because I had to be somewhere and couldnt let ir PC for the whole 90 mins. Left everything in the PC to cool for several hours. When i finally opened the PC the jars were still slightly warm. I shook the living shit out of the jars (which i ended up overfilling a bit because the WBS expanded during PC). Then, I noc'd up the jars in my glovebox on friday (today is Mon) and im seeing my first signs of mycelium growth today. Also, I used tyvek under the lid and thats it. I Tried just poly fill in the breather hole before with no tyvek.. but strands of polyfill got in the jars (which didnt effect anything but i didnt like seeing it). Im probably going to buy some hpoo/straw from ralphsters (my fresh hpoo isnt quite ready yet). Anyways,I hope my experiments may help somebody out. Feel free to leave questions, comments, grievences. Cheers.

the enter/return button is your friend
i just rinse my wbs a few times
take out all of the seeds that float
add gypsum and let soak for 12 hours or so
then i put on the stove for about 30 minutes
strain and let sit for 30-60 minutes
then load up my jars and PC
i havent had any problems really with this method
the only time i had real problems with wbs
1. let boil too long and kernals exploded 2. bought wbs with cracked corn so the wbs is slimy after boiling and i didnt rinse so the grains didnt shake 3. added too much gypsum to the mix and the grains were slimy 4. let dry too long and it took forever to colonize

?? gypsum doesn't making grains "slimy." Gypsum is water soluble & water only holds as much gypsum as it can, which is why when I'm doing multiple grain runs over a weekend, my first bucket that I soak w/ is LOADED (about 7 tablespoons) w/ gypsum. I have plenty of extra gypsum that didn't dissolve in the bucket & reuse + a little bit more the next time.

it seems slimy when i added a quart of gyspum to my grains
too much gypsum
and im not sure if it really dissolves or is just suspended in the water
