Struck out in the genetic lottery? You all were right New pic!

First time working with a GT syringe I have. Substrate and growing conditions all the same as previous grows. These looked great, awesome pinset but I believe they are about as big as they are going to get. Think I'm correct in assuming it's genetics? Can't wait to finish clearing a spot and building a cabinet to house my flowhood...

Took longer then I'm used to and didn't get quite as tall. You all were right though it turned out nicely! Don't think it would have been possible to fit another mushroom in there.
I also did a good size mono tub that looked the same. I don't know how you all do it....harvesting those things. What a pain in the ass! Gonna stick to my 6 quart tubs, pop the substrate out and clear cut with a sharp knife.

You used a MS syringe, the genetics should be random, meaning that you will have many different sizes and shapes. Be patient, that looks like a superb job though.

i had bins look like that
skinny stems
and fuzzy bottoms
i wasnt giving them enough fae
do you keep that tray covered or is it open most of the time?
a lot of times when i get a lot of pins i get smaller fruit
and when i have few pins i get bigger fruit
but it looks like the tray may need more o2
but i could be wrong

I hope I'm wrong and they get bigger. I know they won't be huge. I'm used to that with these trays. They generally reach about 4-5 inchs in these trays and I pull about 2oz dry off one. I haven't worked with these before and the growth is just very very slow. Looking at them up close I can see them probably being open by tomorrow night. First pin popped up on the 23rd. This is where they are at 5 days later.
I've done alot with PR,CR,EQ and Col R. They were all 4-6 days from first pin to harvest. Guess I'll be patient and time will tell.

very nice. GTs were my first, they never dissapointed me, except that they tend to be more of the body buzz variety, with less visuals then some strains, but i love em, especially when mixed with a strain with a good visual effect. overall great job with ur grow! keep it up

That's why I think that the strain thread should be closed. Nothing personal luksifer but unfortunately cube "strains" are not like mj strains

There is a trade off. Huge pinsets put off smaller, more potent fruit. Subsequent flushes have fewer/larger fruit. It's just the way it goes.
Yeah I'm used to that. These GT just grew alot slower then any other strain I've worked with. Browse my gallery They still ended up being an inch or 2 shorter then other strains with = pinsets. Guess I'm just used to waking up in the morning and they have grown alot through the night. With these there was hardly any noticable difference in the morning. I really thought they had stopped growing and were going to open.

Thanks! They were 542g wet. I usually get between 650-800 from these 6qt tubs, first flush. These were just a bit of a let down. I've got 4 more trays of them pinning now. From the looks of it the pinset will be the same. See how they end.
