how's my new website look? need help

Hey there pub!
Well I'm a little hesitant to post a link to my website on the shroomery, because it has my full name in it, but what the hell.
www.keithduffmusic.com
Now I'm no professional website builder by any means. In fact, i haven't made a website since the days of Geocities and Angelfire haha
But I was looking for some feedback on the website design itself... what works, what looks shitty, is the content easy enough to access, etc.? Anything really.
Thanks for any advice
***UPDATE***:
I redesigned the website... I hope it looks better now (I think it looks a lot better)
However there's one thing that's pissing me off. The top image (the speaker grill looking one) will not stretch all the way across the page... I want it to cover the green color behind the logo completely. The website was made using a "template" and I cannot change this myself. The website maker does let you change the CSS code, but I have no idea wtf I am doing, or for that matter, if the CSS code is what controls that.
Is there some kind internet-savvy soul who can help me out? i would be eternally grateful

My computer says your website is suspicious :P
Other than that, fix those yellow buttons.. to something a bit more neutral, it looks pretty solid.

Also the roll over color on the top links Home Audio Videos Bio / Discography E-mail
They almost disappear turning a dark grey on a black background. Maybe turn off the rollover color change or just make it a light grey color.
I don't really mind the yellow links on the side as much but it looks funny on the Audio and Video pages having giant buttons there. I do agree a neutral color would be better.
I should add the rest of it is very nice and easy to get around, and that is what is important. Just didn't want all negative in my post on a reread of it.

You should add a scroller or something (not really sure what it's called) to display the song name that plays on the main page.

id say get rid of the auto-playing music.
use a basic flash player or just embed youtube videos.. dont make it automatic though. that is really bad design.
def dump the rollover colors or, at the very least, change them.
run through the content on the site too.. just a quick look i saw some typos.
im not personally a fan of those yellow buttons at all.. even the "logo" or whatever at the top.
i am a HUGE fan of simple, clean design. you dont need to be flashy to make a beautiful site.. no crazy transitions, no background music, no weird fonts, etc..
heres a project im just about finished:

D'oh... Noscript plugin in affect.
I didn't even notice the background music. Had to allow your site to hear it.
I will say i hate websites with music in the background. I mean just think how many tabs one could have open and all the music that could be playing at once.
I agree with just embedding some youtube link in there or something else that is simple and easy to play and stop.

Oh just a firefox plugin that blocks things, scripts, videos, music, etc...
Meaning the first time i went there I did not allow your site so the music did not load.
When I heard there was music there I went back and went ah I have to allow it and boom music.

Yeah, that font in the yellow buttons, coming from a designers point-of-view, sucks big. It is atrocious and does nothign to work with the palate you are using.
But, it's a nice site and easily navigatable.
You should have your email address somewhere, as opposed to using a button taking you to a resident email program. For me, on my mac, I cannot access your email address at all. Not sure why.
Good luck!

The site look good...and it is easy to navigate.
There is some room for improvement though, the two different shades of green seem a bit out of place. Also the buttons look a bit...well, not necessarily cheap, but old-fashioned...go look at some wordpress.org themes to get some inspiration (if you are already using wordpress, disregard)
I like your music, sounds cool...good luck...

The new buttons are MUCH more fitting. Good job on that.
Though 13.step is right, the green background is a little out of place.
If you're wanting something simple yet sleek like what you kind of have going, I would go for shades of grey.

Hmm I'll try out some different background colors... grey seems like a good choice.
Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to voice their opinions. I like what the site is now so much better than what it was, and I have the pub to thank for it!

You may want to have the foreground and background the same color so there is no differentiation.
You could also play with having a black background, and grey foreground, or even the inverse. I would just play around with it till you find what you like best.
You could take screenshots of each style and upload the images here if you feel like your designer's eye isn't too developed.
Either way,

im not crazy about the duplicate menus on the home page.. seem like a waste of space to me.
id dump either the top or right side menu.. since the top navigation is global across the whole site id be more inclined to get rid of the right side links.
id get rid of that splash page too.. let people go right to the page instead of adding a barrier between the them.
The Oatmeal's 8 Websites You Need To Stop Building has a pretty good example at #7..
