I would consider that beside the point?
Obviously the mother and father played a role.

I actually like my current job, though I've had jobs I didn't like. I spent 2 weeks refilling ink cartridges with old ladys and a retarded kid who kept calling everyone either a King, Queen, Jack, or Joker. He was the Ace of course. Apparently, being the Joker was a sign of disapproval, but fortunately I turned out to be a Jack.
I started work as a roofer in Midsummer, that lasted for about 3 hours.
I did some time in HVAC as an installer, that sucked pretty good. Crawlspaces.
But the absolute worst was the week of community service at a retirement center... washing clothes.

The old ladies that worked there didn't seem to mind the smell. Maybe Icelander needs an old lady.

I like heat too but after three hours shoveling shingles @ 100F I was about to black out, so at around 11:00 I climbed down the ladder and found a nice spot under a tree and dozed til lunch break, at which point we all rode back to the shop. There was no need for words, they knew I wouldn't be back.

Oh I know but I did much of my roofing in Michigan near the lake. 90 and humid as hell.
You don't sweat much in the desert.

Actually that is quite false. You actually sweat more, but it dries so rapidly so as to appear as if you are not sweating.

Yeah that's what I meant. It's gone in the dry air and won't sit on the skin.
Why are you so mean to me?

Really?
Same temps you sweat more in a lower humidity environment?

It sucks you dry baby. If there's moisture in the air it's harder to saturate it and the sweat stays longer on your skin.

OK, I did some more research on this. Short corrected answer, sweating is slightly higher in increased humidity because the efficacy of evaporation and subsequent cooling is decreased.
However, exhalation loses a lot of moisture in dry air. Altitude and activity also play a part.
Back to the original scenario, temperatures in the South are generally not comparable to those in the desert. So at 110F and low humidity vs. 95F and high humidity, plus the respiratory water losses, you would dehydrate quicker in the desert. At exact same temps and altitude, sweat loss is higher in high humidity (but not because your skin is drenched as people perceive), but respiratory loss is decreased.
So it is roughly a wash.
