ok so i just smoked 90 + of dmt and had a because i was fed up of not breaking through(great dmt trip - first breakthrough ) but it was horribly ruined because i was with my dog and i was shakeing uncontrolibly in my bed and i think she thought i was dying, when i was more concious she was huddled around me licking my face and i started crying because of what i just put her though. im still "high" just came back like 2 mins ago and have a hard time typing this, will reword this and add in more tomarow when im more "sober"
quick rewording ( will edit after class) so here is what happened, i packed a bowl full of 50mg ( i just have a pipe made into a "machine:" with some screens on top, and i smoked the dmt but what started happening is everything just seemed to get dragged really far away and i really dont remember much about the experience so after the experience i really didnt remember much, so i waited about 10 Min's in my bed and decided im really fed up of not breaking through so i decided to pack the bowl one more time and this time i packed it full of 90Mg's+ and stood up in front of my dressed while leaning on my bed, once i hit the dmt my dresser was disappearing- it just seam to get dragged away and my little room turned in to a giant stadium, so i couldent put my pipe down and i was still thinking Little so i knelled to the grow nd and placed it there, meanwhile these crack head looking elves were bouncing around the room ( i say crack head because there one tone heads just moved quickly (like shakeing them and changeing directions every time) at this point i just fell back into my bed and i think i blacked out, all i remember is i started shoveing my hands into my mouth and started shoving blankets into my mouth ( really dont know why i did this) my mouth was open really wide because i was really happy i was haveing such a mind blowing experience. then i was haveing constant jolts go through my body and i was shakeing for a preety long time ( has anyone else shaken on dmt like this? almost like a seizure) and then i noticed my dog was wrapped around my head ( and this point it was still hard to tell it was my/a dog but i could tell by the color) and i became a little more sober and was able to sti up a little and look into her face and she was VERRy scared and just started licking my face, and this point i broke down because i dont know how long i was laying there pretty much haveing a seizure and how it effected my dog , i just started saying over and over, im so sorry im so sorry, and at parts i was so fucked up i started to think why i was saying this over and over then i remeberd my dog huddled around me. well that preety much kept going for a while and then i was sober enough i thought i should go get her some treats so i got her some bacon bits and cuddled her till she felt beter, than i jumped onto the shroomery and posted my experience,
im sorry how horrible this is being written but im in class and trying to write as quick as possible

hey man, it's all good. ur just being overwhelmed from your concern for the dogs feelings. All u have to do is disconnect your mind from feeling that remorseful feeling u threw urself into. Think of something positive and uplifting. listen to some music that makes u feel good. positive vibes

Dogs get weird around dmt. I once smoked some with my dog in the room. When it hit me my dog alerted, and started running around acting like someone else entered the room, but he couldn't find them. It's liked he sensed the presence of the entities I was interacting with...way crazy!

I love my dog as well and have had similar feelings but then I realize that its a dog and it doesn't really know what the situation is and how to mentally process everything going on. They don't have any idea I think.
Dogs know how to eat, drink, piss, shit, reproduce, defend themselves, some dogs to hunt, to survive basically ect. They live a very basic existence in comparison to our complex minds, and personally I doubt that they could even grasp the concept of entities, other dimensions, visions, gods, sociological problems, political or religious beliefs, ect.
My dog definitely picks up on some kind of weird vibe when I trip around him, but lately I've thought about it and it's probably just the weird look on my face, and the sometimes abnormal behavior that can go against everything they thought they knew about you. Dogs rely on you to be their parental figure and he gives me kind of the same look a young child probably would if I was tripping around them. Confused.
Don't worry too much about it, just give your dog a good pat before you hit any more deem and that should reassure him a little bit while your in a trance.

Haha, true that. Your dog probably knows you really well and was very concerned with how you were acting.

There have been many recorded instances where Dogs appear to have some sort of "sixth sense". For example there have been times where dogs have alerted people before someone had a heart attack, stroke etc. There also have been instances where dogs can sense earthquakes, granted that seems more realistic than predicting illness, but it still suggests that they may have much more heightened senses (primarily smells and sounds).

Very interesting. I watched a documentary on the domesticated dog and learned a few things. They, like humans, relate to humans. This was naturally bread into them changing them from the wild wolves, to mans best friend. The pet dog is a truly incredible example of control of genetics.
We as humans have evolved to be able to understand each other. We can interpret emotions, certain stances, tones in voice and so on. The cool part is, when forming the relationship with the wolves that eventually became the domesticated dogs, we unknowingly selected dogs that could better relate to our human emotions.
Because of this, dogs "know whats up" with humans better than normal wolves (even domesticated wolves) or any other animal. We essentially unknowingly created a species that has a more emotional connection.
Think about it, would you keep a wolf that could or could not tell if you were happy or wanted to play? Nope. You'd keep, raise, and breed the ones that are in a sense more friendly. Fast forward many years to the future and you've the an animal thats more "friendly" than any others toward humans, giving you mans best friend.
SO... what does this mean. Psychedelics, as all of us here should know, change you. They change your emotions so extreme degrees, and dogs aren't used to this. They were raised to relate to our sober self. They have no idea whats going with you, their best friend, and are worried about it.
Not really sure how to fix the problem your having with your dog, but I hope this info helps.
Good luck!

yes, ive had all of the above at times. including horrific trips that left me shaken for some time afterwards. the electric feeling is none too pleasant when i do get it, either. this hasnt gone away in over hundreds of dmt trips, but i still do it. tell me if you start becoming able to move about in a full blast off later down the road, if you do continue to use it. i have a theory that much of the negative feeling while moving (electric feeling, shaking, convulsion like behavior)...is your mind trying to move about during a dmt trip, which should have otherwise paralyzed you in your place. which is a common side effect of high doses of dmt, such as in sleep paralysis or full blast off doses. dunno, could all be bullshit.

if you want to believe that dogs are capable of predicting natural disasters and heart attacks go right ahead.
as the poster mentioned above me, humans took wolves and wild dogs, and slowly over the years domesticated them and made them less aggresive over time. They don't have super powers.
When you raise a dog, you instantly replace it's natural parental figure, the concept is simple, we took these wild dogs as puppies and cared for them the same as their parental wolf/wild dog would, but without any of the aggresive behavior that they would otherwise learn if they grew up in the wild.
Dogs have incredible hearing and smell, and not very good eyesight, but can they predict heart attacks? earth quakes? well to assume that you also have to make the assumption that they even know what a heart attack or an earth quake is. Which they most definitely do not understand. early man kind probably wouldn't have known what an earthquake was when it happened either, do you think that dogs are smarter then them as well?
Earthquake noises would be heard by a dog before a human, but what is the dog going to do "oh shit earth quakes coming, better tell the owner!" The same with a heart attack, it took years of evolution in modern medical science for humans to be able to know and predict heart attacks, you think a dog is able to grasp the concept of someone actually having the heart attack because of a heightened sense of hearing and smell?
Again the explanation is simple, dogs see your face everyday, they know when you happy at them and they know when you yell at them, they know when your sad sometimes as well. When your face is probably contorted, and your coughing and dying from a heartattack the dog obviously knows something is wrong, your demeanor probably noticeably changes too the dog way before you can notice anything.
Put a bowl of food, or a bitch in heat in front of a dog and 9 times out of 10 they probably wouldn't give a shit if their owner was dying or not. Their animals.

When smoking dry-bongs of changa sometime last year when I used to do drugs(DMT included). I exhaled a very large hit and when I came back my buddy said that his dog wiffed the cloud and his dog was so gone... Scared out of its mind shaking around for like 30-40 minutes. His cat's later kept attacking the bowl-head. Pretty weird stuff...
When I was coming down medallion/mandala things kept flying up and spinning with pictures/'footage' of animals/people in the room and flying into 'me'. Like I had acquired them or something?
Yea the stadium is pretty common my earlier trips were like that.
No need to be worried, it is what it is.

OP you're too worried about getting somewhere. Your goal is a "breakthrough" and the way you're typing is as if you HAVE to have a breakthrough or it isn't worth the experience.
Just do your thing, and if it happens, it happens.
