It's okay to soak it, but don't let any water stand on top of it. 2 or 3 good spritzes should do the trick. And by all means, check with vivid first! He's groooovy.

add water until it's damp. then take handfuls and squeeze out excess water over the sink. when it gets kinda hard to squeeze water out, you have the right dampness.

Is it necessary to sterlize the verm. before applying??

heh, I AM following you around!!! Isn't it scary? I am the shroomery stalker...LOL! (kidding)I'm afraid that I did give you a goofy answer to this particular question, but I was at work and didn't pay enough attention to your question before I stupidly answered it. But I do stand by everything else I've ever told you.
