Letting Go

I think it feels very beautiful when you truly let go, and is a very spiritual process and one that is very entwined with the psychedelic experience. I also feel letting go has to be combined in some way with being present right here in this very moment.
I have OCD, and it's very important and hard to truly let go. Feeling guilty for things that I know I shouldn't feel guilty about, and running the same thing over in my head again and again. I realize these things are very much a waste of my life.
Thoughts? Ideas? Experiences in letting go?
It's a beautiful thing.

Studies have shown magic mushrooms can be effective in alleviating OCD.

Actually, most psychedelics are effective in alleviating OCD. I have taken magic mushrooms before and I love them. They are definitely the best medication for it, and have helped me a lot. My last trip was 2 months ago, so I'm due for another. I will be taking some LSD in the next few days, and I am excited to see what she has to show me.

Thanks man! I have done mushrooms three times, my highest dose was about 3.5 grams and it was beautiful. I can you the trip report if you want! I should be getting 2 tabs of what is supposed to be very good acid. It's my first time with Lucy, and I have read so much about it and have wanted to do it for so long, so I'm very excited.

Looks like an awesome website. I am quite familiar with the concept and with an overwhelming amount of psychedelic reading material.
Got to love that magical stuff.

DMT will make you let go, for sure
The beauty of being an experienced meditation practitioner is that you can create your own psychedelic experience in order to help you let go...
my CEV's are amazing when i meditate.

Chocolate and strawberries will only keep you trapped in the illusion of duality.

That's why mushrooms are better at teaching you to let go
Letting go must be centered around control issues, believing you can control things, so even trying to let go is a paradox because you can't choose to let go, technically speaking anything you 'do' to try to let go is just more clinging, letting go is more subtle & just a seeing rather than a doing.
Buddha 'those who see clearly, let go'
Its just a seeing not a doing, and if the mind says a seeing is a doing, then what sees this? Is that seeing doing anything? Behind every action there is a seer that is not performing or held within the action, as every action right down to the most subtle movement is witnessable
Even questioning 'what sees this?' continuously throughout the day brings tremendous peace into the mind as it brings the mind to a place of non action, non control, let go

i can totally agree with this. some kids my age are so scared of mushrooms, ive learned to love it.
i used to advise some people who were having a bad trip, whispering in their ear "once you let go, is when you gain control"

When i tried LSD when i was coming up i was sat in my friends garden & suddenly remembered to 'Be' and WOW Total mind blowing unity with everything It was pretty damn incredible to use while meditating
I remember at one point when i closed my eyes i saw shadow like images of little people flicking through thousands of yoga positions, its was as if by taking the LSD the equivalent sadhana of all those hatha yoga asanas was being fulfilled. I also had one of my first tastes of Shaktipat with a friend, he had taken shrooms 2 days before so wasn't feeling the full brunt of the LSD, he wanted to see visuals and i could see them in the carpet so i got him to stare at the carpet & i was talking to him how to concentrate to tune in & amplify the visuals, and then he suddenly jumped up and shook my hand, and all he could say walking around was 'thankyou, i cant stop smiling!' it was beautiful. Unfortunately my other friend got a bit jealous & i couldn't break through his mind when trying to do the same, its like he was convinced he had to 'get something' that his friend had just got, so then the desire blocked his mind off.
Another cool image i got was snakes made of energy biting at my face but they were only biting space so no fear at all

Well with all these people saying how mushrooms are more uncontrollable then acid, I think we should fill this thread with some beautiful vibrations and stories for LSD. Get me super excited for my first trip!
