Fruiting in the attic..?

I am considering putting some tubs when they are ready to fruit in the attic, would a humidifier be good enough to keep the temp fine for fruiting, and is polyfil in the holes enough to keep out the nasties in my attic from effecting yield?

Polyfill is good to keep out some nasties, but some such as small insects might be attracted to the tubs and they would be able to get through the polyfill. However, your attic probably wouldn't have any of these small critters. Throwing a humidifier up there might not be such a good idea though, you don't want to get mold growing up there! Contain your humidity for sure.

I wouldn't put a humidifier up there if I were you.

Trade List! Don't use incubators. An incubator is for contamination as brothels are for STDs. Sure you get sex, but is it worth it?

I live in Indiana and the temperature is kinda cold right now, so what would be the best way to keep it warm up there for the shrooms without a humidifier?
Also, in the summer would it be too hot and would that mess the mushrooms up? I wouldnt think so, because as the sun cant be controlled when they grow outside, but just checking to cover my bases.
thanks in advance

but, isnt warmness good for shrooms?
also, would i just put perilite on the bottom of the tub, under the coir/verm, and that would help with moisture? never used perilite so i dont know how it works.

not above like 80 degrees... Exp when fruiting and ur attic would surely get hotter than that... and one would use perlite in the bottom of a SGFC... How do you plan to fruit this grow?

well i just planned on keeping it heated and putting it on a 12/12 in a monotub..so ur saying this pretty much is not possible due to too much heat in the summer? if so, that really, really sucks.

Closet would be your best bet...You want it at around normal room temps... 65-75 F works fine...
