BETTER PICTURES PLEASE! Difficult to say from such a fuzzy picture. Is the rest of the jar fully colonized?

The mushrooms can appear like mutants if them push and smash themselves up against the glass....Keep an eye out for the mean green because it can pop up...Are you sure it was green and not blue?....and how long after they were 100% colonized did the pins pop up?...If you used the PF tek you should use the correct type of jars next time. Using the tall 1/2 pints or 1 pints often leads to pre-mature pinning...plus it can lead to some worse things, like contamination and stalling......But if you are seeing things turn colors then its not a good sign. Need a better pic

Take a whiff of it, if it smells like rotten feet its no good, it should smell like a fresh mushroom. Then again if it is mold and you breathe in a bunch of the spores, it could make you really sick. So don't smell it, send a better pic.

One way to tell is get a magnifying glass and look at it, if the color is in the myc itself then its most likely bruise, if it looks like a sandy layer on top of the myc it is most likely contam.

Sorry to say dude but I'm thinking that's mold. They don't look at all like pins.

For the PF tek they are not the right type of jars. While they are 1/2 pint wide mouth they are the tall ones. The correct type of jar is a short fat 1/2 pint wide mouth. Im almost sure those things are mushrooms pressed up against the glass from which you describe and by looking at the pic...You should be ok as long as there isn't any weird colors AND they smell ok when you take them out
