.active gyms & id request.

went for a little stroll this morning and found these active gyms in my hot spot. i watered them a little today and plan on doing the same for the next week or so.

also, need an id on these. they wouldn't also happen to be active gyms would they? habitat shots should give all necessary information. no spore print as of yet. bruising yellow/green.

i picked these because of the broken veils and because i was unsure if they were active (or even gyms for that matter).
thanks in advance.

man bloodworm FUCKING BEAUTIFUL GYM cluster there Def water them and keep taking pics as they get bigger - that cluster could grow WAY more and give ya a couple good doses and still allow some spores to spread!!!!
and your second find looks like the sulfur tuft - or some sort of hypholoma DONT CONSUME THOSE - they shud have a light brown to rusty brown print - they could make you VERY ill
Nice Finds once again brother!!!! Can't wait to see those gyms grow on up n get you spun a couple of times!!!!!!
make gym prints on foil and scrape into waterbottles - then spread over the same area - they will forever reward you for helping them spread

oh - one more thing i think i forgot to mention on your last gym excursion - if you cut them from the ground - and leave the basal mycelium and roots - that SAME spot will fruit for MANY years this same time Remember that spot ( you prob already did ) but that same patch will provide a yearly supply of majik soothing gyms

Nice Gyms, Bloodworm! Can't wait to see the updates. I agree with the second ones being Hypholoma.

went out and watered. noticed some nice new blue pins popping up. didn't take any pictures, but will be sure to tomorrow. did not seem like there was much growth in size. however, the newly developing pins are a good sign. supposed to get thunderstorms tonight and a little rain tomorrow. so i figure ill wait until wed. to water again if the rain comes.

Wicked news brother im excited to see some pics of the blue aborted pins - thats ALWAYS the sign of majik!!!!! ( i kno you already tried em and found out ) but that makes some of the coolest pics INDEED!!!!!! Let the rain help em pop on up HUGE!!!
and checking every other day is pretty good idea- they do seem to grow reletively slow - but when the weather is perfect they can shoot on up much faster!!!!! - can't wait for more pics!!!!
also check around the area - where there is one cluster - MORE are bound to be found

after i spore print can i spray some patches in my backyard and is there any need for sterilization? my backyard is covered in mulch (wood chips) and decomposing leaves. also, would gyms grow using BRF tek? im assuming no, but just wanted to double check.
sorry if these are questions for the cultivation thread. i just figured someone here might be able to shed some light on the subject.
thanks.
