It's a solid offense but there is a lot more potential for collapse than most.

This I can agree with. Either they will stay healthy and do well, or the injury bug comes back for a second helping this season, the the Phils rely on pitching again.

Dom Brown fracture his hand. He probably won't be the same this year. Utley got a cortisone shot in his knee. You're not usually supposed to do that. Point.

Brown wasn't going to start anyway...I think Fransisco should be the starter, and have Brown play a lil more in the minors until later in the season. And I hope he is never the same as when he played in the Majors he did horrible during his time up.
and Utley is disappointing news, but i still think he will play the majority of the season. He's played through knee problems in the past... although it may just be time catching up to him
There were rumors of Lee having elbow pains too.

I'm pretty positive the Phillies intended to use Brown as a regular. The small amount of plate appearances that Brown accrued last year shouldn't detract from his prospect status. It happens to a lot of players. The Phillies are really good but they're also very old for a baseball team.

Nah, I think Brown would have at best platooned with Fransisco. Fransisco needs to step up, last year he wasn't that bad. And Brown still needs lefty work. I think he may have had 3 hits against lefties all year in the majors.
Brown is going to be like Howard. When he is ready, he will dominate righties, fair poorly against lefties, destroy a fastball, and have a lot of strikeouts. After a few years, and pitchers learning to pitch him however, he will hit more lefties from experience, hit less righties because they know how to pitch him, see a huge drop in fastballs, but also decrease his strikeout rate.
