What was "the thing" when you guys were in middle and high school?

Honestly, I kinda liked middle school better than high school. The middle school I went to was pretty small so everyone was friends with everyone and I remember me and my friends skipping classes and messing with teachers and having crouds of kids standing around us as we jumped down the flights of stairs in between classes, and throwing desks down the stairs, and just doing whatever. We were just kids being kids. Me and my friends were kinda into the "skater" thing and there were a few puertoricans that tried to do the whole "gangsta" thing but for the most part we were a close group of kids who pretty much just did whatever all the time and had fun with it.
I just graduated from high school last year and it was full of fake douchebags . Most of the kids were doin the "MTV/Jersey shore" thing in the sense that most of the guys were all muscular and guido-like and shit and most of the girls looked like they were painted orange from fake tanning. They would show no emotions and do everything they could to seem all mature and socially acceptable and shit, they were sarcastic and never had fun. They did that thing where they sit there staring at each other silently with emotionless expressions when they were talking and shit and they were generally douchy. Then there were the "gangsta" kids who were slightly less annoying but still annoying as fuck. They used phrases such as "mad niggas", "going hard", "poppin", and were sarcastic and disrespectful as well, to teachers and everyone. They would say things like "wow that is like soooooooooo cool" and "ok i'll just punch someone in the face" and were downright annoying and immature. Then there were the "scene kids" who had sideways hair and pladd shirts and were into local indie bands and shit, I usually hung with these kids even though I found them to be only slightly less annoying than the "gangsta" kids.
Most kids probably saw me as either being: Insane, stupid, intelligent, deep, annoying, or just flat otu weird. I was that kid with long hair who wore old skateboarding t-shirts and never took anything anybody ever said seriously and took acid all the time and never drank. The funny thing is that I didn't even do that much acid but I had a reputation for being a huge acid freak. I mean, I woulda probably been tripping like 24/7 if I had enough money and a steady supply of acid and I talked about it all the time, but it was always overpriced or weak or something idk. Anyway, whenever I would chill with the gangsta kids I would kinda mock there slang and I could tell that I got on some of their nerves. Whenever someone would say something like "we gotta get mad niggas up in here" I would usually say something along the lines of "yea we gotta get angry niggers in here". I wouldnt mock everyone 24/7 but most kids probably thought I was annoying as hell because of some of the nonsensical thigns I would say. Some of the shit I just talked about was a little innacurate and idfaskdfjkasdfjaklsdjflkwjerl e
The end of my senior year of high school was pretty cool tho.
how was your middle/high school daze?

Middle school was just as bad as high school, hierarchy's everywhere, fights in the hall ways, kids having sex not in school of course and drugs were just as big in middle school where I went than in high school. And this was a "nice" middle school full of suburban kids.
But I had a fucking great time

I left highschool at 16 like a retard but yea that was 9 years ago, back then I was into skateboarding and just was viewed as a "stoner" all my friends were the same. Pretty much the school was split into groups of stoners/druggies,jock faggots, preppies, wiggers, quiet outcast kids who didnt have many friends

At the age of 13 I was a member of the Ministry of Funny Smells, together with a buddy. We'd buy a box of eggs and hid it in a bush to ferment for a month or two, then occasionally we'd put one on an inner door handle, or on top of a toilet door. We wedged a toilet freshener block behind the radiator of the classroom where cooking was taught resulting in the whole classroom smelling like a freshly flushed loo and stunk up the library by hiding a half pound of cowbutter as four strategically placed chunks, causing the library to gradually smell more and more like cat diarroea until finally the four chunks were found and removed.
Nobody ever found out and lord knows, they tried.
In our defense I'd like to say we did it for the lulz two decades before doing it for the lulz became a fashion statement.

The time I spent in Middle School was not pleasant. I was no outcast, or trouble maker. I did not have many people to "play" with. I remember that one time during my birthday my mother decided to throw me a party. There was a total of three people who showed up. A year later, I had to move to another school because of some family troubles. In my new school everyone talked to me during the first week. The second week they gave me the cold shoulder. When I entered High School things were slightly different. I got into a lot more trouble with the faculty. It caused me to be suspended, and fined. That was the main "thing". Causing trouble for the faculty was the cool thing to do. It wasn't because we all wished to be cool, but because the faculty were asshats. It also didn't help that the majority of the student body were spics, including myself.

I was also part of a network of individuals who made things stinky. Whilst transitioning from one class to another we would deploy our stank. I have detonated stink bombs in the following locations in my HS:
- Library
- Bus
- Halls
- On my arch-enemy
- Classroom
- Bathroom

When I was in middle school and when I first got into high school, administration was still trying to figure out a way to put an end to 'Pager' usage.
The cell phone epidemic would soon follow.

crafty little bastard! I just kept things simple: massive wads of papertowels in the toilets and sinks to flood the place
I wasn't a total shit at least.. if there was a floater i'd flush it before the papertowel stuffing commenced

A stink bomb you buy at the toystore has NOTHING on a sincerely rotten egg, and for a more persistent olfactory warfare agent nothing beats a strategically placed piece of cowbutter (not margarine or I Cant Believe I Just Ate That, they won't work) or goat cheese going rancid over a period of days to weeks.
But, I was an outcast, it was terrible, I urgently needed those lulz to get by.
