I just came back from the new castle area where it is green and full of shrooms! Where i live, all the paddock's have long dead dry grass, sometimes lawn type grass around. I live central west NSW, Rains sometimes. I was wondering if it matters all that much about the grass? or is it just something that would be helpfull. Or Maybe absolutely needed for shrooms?(cubensis, pan cyan's) And is it possible that cubensis and pan cyan spores havent been introduced to the area i live in yet? (Wrong thread?)

Im not sure that grass type really matters but then again, Im not very experienced. thats a pretty informing video.
As for spores, you could always try introduce them your self by putting spores in a spray bottle and introducing them to paddocks where you suspect conditions are optimum for them to grow.

Its probably just dry and the paddocks probably havnt been grazed in a while. You want paddocks with quite a bit of saturation. A creak or pond is a good sign.

There are three paddoks, one that is fairly short, fairly green, Pleanty of cow poop, freash and old, very old. Another one that is right on a steap river bank that has flooded sooo high before, twice before. brown mostly green lawn sized grass, not soft like lawn. Not many poops due to flood. And the last one, very tall ddead dry grass, Well not pasture grass but spiky wast high grass. full of old poop.
